I don't think that Benirus Manor Helping hands is compatible. The mod description of Helping hands says that the servant will go to the basement to eat and sleep, but in my mod the door to the vanilla basement is disabled at the end of the quest. I dont know how Oblivion deals with such a conflict. Maybe the game crashes when you try to start it, or maybe the servant will just stand there and cannot be interacted with, or maybe she'll try to find the basement at dinnertime and night but is otherwise fine. I advice against using Helping Hands together with my mod.
I don't have Oblivion installed right now, and don't have time to try Helping Hands myself or make a compatibilty patch for it.
I can't activate the file. It says it's not a valid Oblivion plugin of master file. Does the mod have any requirements that you forgot to mention in the description?
I don't have Oblivion installedright now, but I've had comments like this about a previous mod. For that mod, it turned out that using the vanilla Oblivion Launcher does not work. But using Wrye Bash to activate the mod does work. I don't remember about Oblivion Mod Manager.
