Woah.... This might be what I'm looking for. Since getting back into Oblivion in 2022, I have experienced horrific FPS drops in Oblivion worlds when looking at plants. The D3D9Ex thing from Oblivion Display Tweaks was able to get back about half of the frames that were lost, but I would still experience a drop. You mean to tell me that it was Harvest Flora that was destroying my FPS this whole time? I never would have guessed.

      It most likely is.

In testing both with and without graphics enhancements like ORL and DXVK, I was nearly halving my framerate just from a few harrada within view. The fps values in the mod's image are my real firsthand experience in Kvatch's Oblivion world. In the worst case I saw - with draw distance set to max - I dropped to 9 fps.

A quick way to test this (assuming you are using Steam's fps overlay or something similar) is to get several harrada plants in view, then disable them with the console (select them with the cursor and type ".disable"). Harvest Flora is clearly the offender.

(I haven't downloaded your fix you to see if it helped my game).

An easy way to test out the harrada FPS issue is with Frostcrag Spire. If I go to the plant room I have about 80FPS before looking at the harrada plants. Looking at them without D3D9Ex drops my FPS to about 12.
