This mod might need some refinement. First, Wrye Bash reports it's dirty & needs cleaned, despite the author's saying the 2016 version is cleaned. Second, it doesn't add the bash tags it needs, which are "names" & "text". Third, it's not changing the love letter & shopping list on a table in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary. No matter where I have the esp in the order, even dead last, it's not touching those and it should, since I see the new DB letters in the CS. I don't know if this affects any other letters too; all I know is the ones in the Marie Elena cabin & Slash 'n Smash are there as they should be. I really haven't seen any others from this mod. I read every letter, recipe, list, etc that I see since Oblivion XP gives experience points for reading them, but to date I've only seen the two I mentioned.
Suggestion: don't take up a load order slot on this. Merge it with some other mod that only does one specific, minor thing. Just don't combine it with Reneer's Note mod, since that mod doesn't function properly when merged, unfortunately.

It needs cleaning because TES4Edit v4.0+ can clean more ITMs than the previous TES4Edit versions.

This is incorrect as of version 1.3 of Cliff_BetterLetters.esp. Version 1.3 of this mod does not need any bash tags at all. However, it is true that previous versions of this mod need the bash tags Names and Text, which LOOT will provide, if it detects that you are using an older version of this mod.
Third, it's not changing the love letter & shopping list on a table in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary.
Both of these new letters by the mod and other letters appear just fine for me with this mod, using version 1.3.
Thanks for the detailed response. Still not seeing the altered DB note, no matter where I have this mod in the order, but that may be due to Better DB Sanctuary or Cobl or some other mod that affects the sanctuary reverting it back to vanilla; I don't know. Regardless, I'm now convinced this mod works as it should otherwise.
@Venomlord Dude Bethesda made about a million speeling errors in vanilla Oblivion alone, and left them in! If Bethesda doesn't care about typos, then neither should you
Cool idea, but a few corrections and it will be perfect.
1. Tthe letter in the image spells "profanities" incorrectly. 2. In the letter to Arnora, "daedras" should be pluralized as "daedra." 3. As has been noted by prior posters, "basically" was misspelled.
These small nitpicks notwithstanding, I just want to say that this is an amazing mod that really breathes life into this game.
