After so many years, I have finally decided to release my weapons and armours mod to the Nexus. I finished making this compilation mod in 2010, and have been playing with this mod ever since. Now I share the compilation with all of you.

You may be familiar with a lot of the weapons found in this compilation.  All of the weapons found herein have been altered to be - and remain - game imbalancing.  If you wish for a more 'balanced' mode of play with all of these weapons and armours, just load up EssentialWeaponsArmours.esm into the Construction Set and change them all yourself. Or, use other mods like Martigen's Monster Mod with amped up spawn rates, and then this weapons and amours mod is a more balanced fit.

I have included Niflheim inside of this weapons and armours mod specifically to deliver boots and gloves found at the end of the Niflheim dungeon.  You will find boots and gloves with Drain Speed and Drain Agility respectively.  Once you progress towards the maximum level for all of your attributes, you may find yourself moving too quickly.  Not a problem, use the Niflheim Boots to slow down with since they have a Drain Speed 40 modification on them.  Once you hit 100 Speed and walk and run, if the pace is too fast for you, put the boots on and ease back on the speed.  Use the gloves and boots in tandem if you wish for a more controlled movement.

Installing the mod is easy. Drag and drop the following directories into \oblivion\data:

EssentialWeaponsArmours.esp

Enable the plugin using whatever mod loader you prefer to use. I use OBMM due to my mod loadout being far far less than 200 mods. Vortex or MO2 will also work just fine. Play the game! You can install this mod at the beginning of a new game, or during a playthrough. Consult the item locations later on in this document.

Once you exit the tunnel from the initial tutorial quest, you will notice a boat; enter the boat and pick up your full set of Ornate Light Armour gear, unenchanted.

Go to the Imperial City Market District and visit all of the shops. You will need approximately 500000 gold to purchase all of the modified objects inside of the Marketplace.

- A Fighting Chance - inside of a chest you will find a bunch of freebies, take all of them. Speak to Rohssan and check if she has anything else that may interest you.

- Mystic Emporium - Calindil sells a ton of important low level spells that you will need to create - as early as possible - enchantments, so make sure you pay him a visit. He also has a few items for sale from Weapons and Armours section.

Locate Niflheim Dungeon and enter it. The dungeon itself is multi-level, and quite fun and also quite short. The reward is an entire set of armour, which includes a unique pair of boots, designed to slow your character down. These boots have a Drain Speed Attribute 40 on them. As you increase your Speed levels, you may realize you are moving too quickly, and these boots are designed to slow you down as you move.

- travel to the Chorrol Fighter's Guild and look around for some weapons laying about. NOTE: You need to be a member of the Fighter’s Guild to enter here.

- The Elven Ruins of Lipsand Tarn, Morhame, Sedor, Niryastare contain weapons for you to discover; both Ondo and Rielle will have a custom bow for you to locate and claim.

- travel to Cheydinhal and near the foot of a bridge you will find a sword laying on the ground. The sword is called Excalibur.

- travel to Cheydinhal and a vendor in The March Rider has stuff to sell you.

- travel to Chorrol and the vendor Rasheda found in the Fire And Steel has something to sell you.

- travel to Anvil Harbor and go to Lelles' Quality Merchandise to purchase a robe. Also, go to the Chapel Undercroft and locate another version of Excalibur. This location was originally for The Father Sword, but I have changed this here.
