I don’t claim to have done anything perfectly. I used Gigapixel AI and Photoshop to do the best I could within my knowledge. I recreated some custom alpha channels, but I wasn’t able to redo all of them. The result didn’t turn out exactly as I had envisioned, but I still managed to significantly enhance the game’s visual quality. I am not a professional; I haven’t received any training in this field, nor has anyone taught me how to do this. But with passion and dedication, I will continue improving Knights DLC and more, bringing Oblivion closer to modern standards. My goal is to upgrade the game with 4K and 8K textures to make it look as good as it deserves in today’s world. Gigapixel AI didn’t reach its full potential until 2024. Achieving perfect results before then was nearly impossible. Now, I aim to enhance all weapons and armors, many more textures, and the remastered version of the Realm of Oblivion mod. I hope all these dreams come true. Many people have contributed to improving Oblivion, and I have had the honor of being one of them. My only wish is for this legendary game to shine in 4K resolution, worthy of 2025. Because what I love most about Oblivion is exploring the world and admiring the textures in detail (:

I pay attention to include maximum naturalness and originality, the optimal level of noise and sharpness, and if necessary, cleanliness and corrections.

Believe me, I really want this too. The Menus mod wasted a lot of my time. I struggled for days. Files that require manual editing take up a lot of my time. This mod will definitely be completed, and then I will probably prepare the 'Oblivion Realm 8K' mod again. After all of this, I have plans to continue, but for now, these are the definite ones. First, I enhance the image using Gigapixel AI. Then, I prepare the normal map and alpha channels of the newly created diffuse map using Photoshop. I use standard settings for the normal map. I manually adjust the contrast and light settings of the alpha channel, referencing the original alpha channel for guidance. There is no standard profile that I use with Gigapixel AI either. Sometimes I use a single profile, sometimes I use combinations of more than one profile (:
If available, I also prepare specular maps and occlusion maps using Photoshop. However, it can be difficult for me if it contains maps of a type I am not used to. I use paint.net to change file extensions. I am reviewing each file one by one.
gigapixel AI is a very professional artificial intelligence-based program and a serious quality increase can be achieved by using profile combinations. I took a look at the program you mentioned. I will test it with both programs and compare the results, but I am currently working on normal map contrast settings. I will customize the contrast settings of all my normal maps. Wow, these textures are huge, I can't use them as I already have a lot of mods installed and using such high resolution textures would crash my game. Thank you for nor work nonetheless.
