Hi, with this mod run, I get persistent CtD when moving from interior to exterior. Are there any settings I need to adjust to mitigate? Thanks.
ADDENDUM: I found this mod and Sky BSA conflict with each other. I suppose that makes sense as they both have the unpacking dynamic. I'm going with this mod. Thanks GBRPluss, you always do great work!
ADDENDUM 2: The WD mods make the game look great, but tank frames. Using this instead I am getting an extra 100 frames; up to 157. Before, I couldn’t get more than 57 in exterior spaces. Well done!
What method, btw? Im sort of in a business of making LOD (for FNV), so just curious about the tech details. Also, now that Ive installed new version, it runs really well, good job!
DLC ESPs are giving me errors when I try to patch them with the bat. It says file size checklist isnt matching? I use UOP. I think I replace DLC ESPs before so that could be why. Oblivion.esm seems to get patched fine. When I opened Wrye Bash, it just removed DLC ESPs from the load list. I had to copy DLC ESPs back from the backup folder.
This mod modifies and cleans the core ESMs. It's risky, but you can absolutely modify, fix and improve the ESMs, it's something I think modders are too scared of doing.
I am all for it personally (once the bug fixes start to be implemented), I really adore having a potentially even cleaner and lighter load order.
I don't even think that's the biggest problem here at this point. It is the obvious feature creep that is seeping through into this mod, because GBR tends to be...overly enthusiastic to make an ultimate mod of something. Adding lights to sparkles, removing the spell tomes conjurer, his implementation of LOD will be visually incompatible with mods that would affect LOD. There's all kinds of peculiar changes in this modified esm. The lack of documentation is also of course an issue as has been previously discussed in the comments. It should be continue to be improved and expanded.
The biggest issue is the removal of "trash". There's a lot of extra stuff in the esm that you *could* remove, if you want, but doing so will probably break some obscure mod and it's virtually impossible to troubleshoot for that without a changelog unless you run a delta difference comparison on the esm this mod produces vs the original to establish the delta. Then you'd have to manually revert any changes/rebuild records to fix compatibility with your problem mod.
Same issue as established mods renumbering formID's.
First look what is done, than write comment. I know how optimise esm for mods compatibility. All test thigs that can be used from other mods - still here. I delete only 100% trash.
Тому що коли файл в esp, вся хуйня всередині залишається завжди в пам"яті, як за флагом "presistant record", але я туплю, Обла не може в ЄСМ файлі перезаписувати інфу з попереднього ЄСМ файлу, так що проїхали :D
Yes, it would be nice if the v2 patches you made could apply to the Morroblivion bsa files.
I haven’t had any issues in Cyrodiil while using v2 so far, though I can’t see LOD meshes that the changelog mentions. Might be an Oblivion Reloaded problem though. Some LOD would pop in depending on camera angle.
Really? Is your Morroblivion around? Sounds like an interesting project, I didn’t know there is another.
