By default, darkness levels while sneaking have a large effect on enemy detection. As they should, but it can be a bit too much, and can have even a novice sneaking in plain sight unnoticed, as long as they are in a shadow. Enemies can seem completely blind at those times, especially enemies with low sneak skill.
This mod affects the effects of light on detection, and causes enemies to see a bit better in the dark. Increasing Sneak skill will allow the player to hide better in the shadows.
