I can't say for sure if it's this mod that caused it but when I visited Olav's Tap and Tack in Bruma Alval Uvani attacked my companions unprovoked. He knocked out a few of them until eventually being slain lol. I hope this doesn't mess up the dark brotherhood questline, I'm only on the knife in the dark quest and haven't even killed rufio yet
And some people say Oblivion doesn't have choices and consequences. Maybe that's a bit too harsh of an reaction. I checked, and apparently laughing at the fisherman's face results in a -60 point disposition penalty, more than enough to turn him hostile for most characters, with this mod on and nothing to hold him back. Thanks for bringing this up.
I'm now wondering if I should do a more extensive mod on all this disposition stuff. Maybe combine this mod with the Disposition mod I made, and iron out some kinks and flesh things out.
New version uploaded. I made it so the Yellow Team Champion won't start to hate you when you join in the Arena. I did a quick test, but let me know if there's any problems. Sorry again, and thank you for letting me know.
Hey that's a great mod. Raising NPC aggression is a great solution, there should be less risk involved. Also works better, since the default Speechcraft minigame lacks an option to actually provoke, besides telling bad jokes.
If that's the case, that 7 can be lowered to a 6. Disposition of 5 would be the vanilla setting, which will make it impossible to turn NPCs with 5 aggression stat hostile.
One other solution is to lower the aggression stat of the aggression stat of the NPC.
Update Sorry, looks like I was a bit off here. I did some testing and reduced the disposition values to the lowest possible. Values can be found in the changelog.
It is possible in vanilla with NPCs that have an aggression stat over 5, but those NPCs are less common, and it's uncommon to have their disposition to drop so low without deliberately doing so. I never knew before I read about it on UESP. It's an interesting mechanic, so I wanted to make it possible with all NPCs.
I accidentally uploaded the old file, it's now corrected and the value is -54.00, which means the disposition values that make NPCs hostile are only one point higher than vanilla.
That makes NPCs with aggression score of 5 hostile if their disposition hits 0. There are NPCs with higher aggression. NPC with 10 aggression turns hostile when disposition is reduced to 5.

Is this mechanic even possible in vanilla because I never have an NPC turn hostile when I get their disp to 0
