It's going to take longer that I thought. While I can separate the parts into greaves, gauntlets, cuirass, and boots I found I'll have to add leg and arm parts and make them fit to look just right.
Congratulations, I really liked the armor and its small details, before I hated the glass armor, now it's the one I love the most, it goes even better with the graphics model and I wanted to know which ENB are you using?
I found the last one issue I believe, in case you have time. When character is combat staggered in first person - the remaining model aside of first person arms causes the model piece to reveal oddly, well seen in this video: https://youtu.be/PFNQ1kQG3VQ The cause of this is in this video: https://youtu.be/e2IL9_SAIJY
This is smth I didn't know. Apparently if the mesh parts aren't named according to original scheme they will be loaded in 1st person mode. You can fix with NifScope by renaming the NiTriStrips of the corresponding mesh part into UpperBody:x (where x is number 0, 1, 2, 3 etc), leaving out only the parts that should be visible in 1st person. You'll have to keep chainmail visible though since I made it one piece without knowing this issue. Try and see if helps.
Worth noting that many of the armor and clothing mods have this problem ( even the popular VGR), noticed a while ago.
It works! Though doesn't fix a problem, because the exact part showing is a chainmail. Just checked it out. Perhaps I will find some info to make arm parts of chainmail separate. I think I can dedicate some time to learn how to do this and make a file tomorrow.
It works like a charm! Absolute gratitude. Though I have changed it to show the pauldrons, still clips through camera but that's a minor one I can easily accept. Thanks again, big deal for me!
With Oblivion Reloaded I have a strange visual bug with your armor. Somehow it's not affected by new shaders. Is there any chance there could be a fix for that? Here's the video of what I mean. Shadows does not affect the armor. Thank you!
Edit: partially fixed by turning of the specular slide in game settings and distancing from character for a bit with tfc command, but gets back once I am nearing the light sources.
There is no such stuff on your other one mod, new leather armor. Would be very cool to have this one fixed.
I added compatibility fix for OR. The problem was with glow maps ( _g.dds files ) that OR doesn't like with my armor so I just disabled them. Minor down side is that armor wont have the "glow". Shadows work fine with ORC though.
One way is to add the armor to the leveled list named "LL0LootArmorLight6Glass100". Then it would be possible loot among other glass armor pieces. Having the possibility of NPCs wearing it would be a bit more complicated. Your armor looks fantastic, professional quality.
