About this mod

This is a mod I made shortly after Oblivion's original release. It is not completed, but has many, many interiors, features and more.

Pendale Island

Pendale Island was a mod I created back in 2007 and worked on for about a year almost entirely by myself aside from some minor scripting. I had help from the original forums at the time, but do not remember who did the script. The one script used in the mod allows the player to create a statue in the town square.

Original Mod Concept

The goal of this mod originally was for there to be a town you could become a Count of. The mod was not finished, but all interiors except for the massive castle in the above image were finished.

What's in the Mod?

The mod contains fully scripted NPCs, Guards and more. There is a hidden miniquest that I myself do not even remember how to access, but it involves finding a note and then some bottles of wine. If I remember correctly - Pendale Island was abandoned due to a horrible curse and monsters, and after beating the main quest you are given the ability to become count of the town and fix it. This functionality isn't in the mod and it just exist as is. Pendale Island was known for it's wine. This mod does exist already on Nexus, but it is buried and that version has some issues that I have fixed today, as of releasing this mod again with screenshots. I recommend installing this mod after a few days of playing a new save file, probably around level 20ish.There are two new weapons, and a new armor set for the guards and more. The main castle in the above image is yours to use as you see fit. There is weapon and armor display rooms, a throne room, weapon and armor storage rooms, a room full of growing ingredients. The uppers floors are not finished - you will discover this upon accessing them, but they do function as is - and there is access to the balcony at the very top. There is also some extra cursed content hidden away. You can find it for yourself, but be careful - you may die if you're not prepared. I am 33 years old now, this mod was made when I was barely 18. All NPCs have their own house with fully completed interiors, and the guards also follow schedules and sleep in their barracks.

Bugs

There are buttons in the town square. Only ever press the middle button ONE time. Your statue will immediately appear. I believe the left button was supposed to remove the statue completely, and the right button was supposed to refresh it with what you're currently wearing. Both of them will crash your game unfortunately. Press at your own risk. There is one missing mesh but you will only see if if you place the guard armor on display (just the chest piece).
