I appreciate this. It peeves me so much that so many mods for Oblivion and Skyrim cater solely to people's sexy Final Fantasy-esque female characters. And sometimes they don't even state that they're female-only because I guess literally everyone plays with female characters.
Male characters are not exactly spoiled for choice when it comes to cool looking armour. I usually take assets from female armour mods and do a mash-up to make it look more appropriate on male characters. Or in this case simply reshape the armor so males can wear it.
Thinking of making a brigandine type of armor for my next mod. As a sort of sequel to the gambeson armor mod.
You have not made any changes in the groin area. That the female character, that the male part in the armor looks exactly the same. In principle, it is not critical, but still.
I wouldn't worry much much about the crotch but rather of the chest which is kind of weird in vanilla male body. This is really cool though! Thank you for sharing!
I dont know how you did all this so fast. The one time that I adapted a costume from one body type to another, it was a week long ordeal of moving faces, vertices, and edges in Blender by hand.
This might not be possible, but could you by any chance make a patch that replaces the standard leather armour in game with this beautiful set? I'm looking for replacers for some of the tired, old looking vanilla armours and this looks perfect! Thank you for making the male version at least.
Someone in the comments of the original mod was asking for a replacer as well, so i'm going to reiterate what the original mod author said, which was that the armor is all in one piece that covers body, hands, legs, and feet where as the vanilla leather armor is modular.
I could divide each segment into their own piece, but I can't account for possible clipping problems should you try to mix and match the pieces. But also it's kind of a pain in the ass to do.
2234455 said they intend to make a more modular version in the future to make a replacer version possible, as well as their own male version. But you're going to have to just wait until then.

I like Vanilla's big barrel chest 🤤
I could make make a Robert's version if anyone is interested though.
My god, you have the patience of a saint. I just use outfit studio. It works with Oblivion
