Thank you for making this! It's so hard to find female armor that isn't ridiculously lewd

Can I ask how you got the hair files to work in Oblivion? I've been tweaking around in the construction kit for a bit and I get errors everytime I load the .nif or .dds onto a character. This has been a wonderful learning experience trying to mod this game. Something new everyday!

Maybe even a specific guide you followed. I've tried NomKitty's and a few other guides from nexus and beyond to port hairs from skyrim, but have had little luck with getting it to work. I'm getting stuck on texturing in blender and have had to give up from frustration. Any info would really help. Once again: love your detailed works.

Hi, thanks for the comment. You need to use blender 249b and modern blender with nif plugin. Import Sky and any Obl hair to modern blender. Match origin point, remove unnecessary Sky hair properties. Adjust mesh as needed and join the mesh to Obl hair so they share mats. Remove the old mesh. Specify texture address in mat properties. Apply all transform and export nif. Import to 249b and reexport again. Update tangent space with nifscope

Just wanted to let you know I adore this armour - honestly my favourite armour model on the whole nexus.
Had some odd fps problems, then downloaded the patch and now I'm getting a smooth and consistent framerate again!

Thanks a bunch 2234455, you do great work!

I'm a 3D modeler with 20 years experience, any good tutorials out there for properly adding custom meshes (models) for the game (clothes) using NifSkope?

Many good tutorials are here. You can use NifScope to swap and import obj but best way is to use your 3D design program of choice with a nif plugin then import/export with this.

Doesn't seem to offer much...crotch protection, does it?

    Still, solid work. 10/10!

Looks amazing! Thank you for this beautiful work.

Can I ask what pose/camera mods you used in your screenshots?

Looks great. Too bad it's just for female characters.

Edit: Male version added by ChampionKnifeFighter https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/53211

Thank you for the comment. Yes, unfortunately making proper m and f versions doubles the efforts and I couldn't really afford it back then.

I have been searching for a good looking leather armor to replace the Thieves Guild members' armor, the vanilla leather armor looks to restrictive and stiff for a thief, and this one is perfect, it looks flexible and light.

Wow, that's an amazing mode I have a question, can you tell me what race mode or appearance mode you used in the mod in the picture?

Thank you. It's OCOv2 Imperial with a hair from Skyrim mod that I converted.

The hair looks wonderful. It would be nice for my new character. Would you mind sharing the file for it?

My game runs smooth as butter while wearing this armor... until I walk near a light source while in an interior. Standing near a candle and letting its light reflect off the armor tanks my frame rate. I don't know what to do about this lol. Your armor is too powerful.

I can run through the Imperial City market district with Better Cities turned on, while wearing this armor, and my frame rate will be almost 60 FPS. If I enter a shop with 1 other NPC around and stand near a candle, my framerate drops to below 20. The exact opposite of what I expected to happen.

I've tested it, seems like graphic mod incompatibility. Runs good on vanilla and ORC but with certain settings of ENB or OR there are problems ( Dark version ). Unfortunately I lack enough knowledge on how materials work in Oblivion engine to pinpoint what exactly causes it. Maybe someone experienced can advice.

I noticed you mentioned earlier in this thread that the materials have max glossiness, and it can cause issues with Oblivion Reloaded and ENB. I do not use ENB, but I do use Oblivion Reloaded, which I'm not going to uninstall. Could it be possible for me to import your armor models into Blender and turn the glossiness down in the materials?

It's a separate parameter within the game nif file itself. You can open with nifscope, go to Ninode>Nitrishape\Nitristrips>MaterialProperty>Glossiness and change it to 1 or 0. Without maxing it out leather wont look good enough.

The patch worked! The armor still looks great, and the game doesn't slow down when I go near a light source! Thank you so much!
