I did check with last night and found out it did not work. Enchanting with Varla Stones replaces Varla Stones with a type of custom soul gem.
Disabling Enchanting with Varla Stones esp and adding Varla Stones to the inventory with console or finding three in game that your character hasn't found yet is the only way to fix the issue.
