Hello, sir, very nice mod! I'm a 3d modeller too, came back into the game after many years, i was thinking of creating my own mod, can i please ask you to share your oblivion model import pipeline? texture is looking very good, was it done in Substance Painter? If yes, can you please tell how to make the modern textures compatible with Oblivion?
I use Blender. Up to date version for modeling and this version for import/export NIF files. Also, Nifscope is needed to tweak mesh files further. Nifscope guides explain a lot about how things work (ex. here). Textures should be DDS - DXT1 for diffuse, DXT3 or 5 for images with Alpha (more in-depth). Here is basic tutorial guide you can use to start. Good luck
Thank you very much for such detailed reply! do you by any chance know how to convert PBR textures to the old classic texturing format that Oblivion uses? I know only the PBR pipeline, unfortunately. There was a tutorial in Fallout New Vegas page about this, but suddenly got deleted
