btw if you want to use this as a replacer it's quite simple in TES4Edit make your own esp copy over the vanilla records (as override with overwriting) for the helmets set it to use the proper models and icon (if you want) which won't be hard to find by just looking at the esp (to actually modify the models you'll have to click the + to expand the header) then save exit and either disable or delete this mods esp ONLY the esp
Iron, Mithril and Glass are on the list, glass is mostly done. All of the 'mineral' materials I'd like to have closed helmets, I may do a pack that adds them alongside the open-face versions on loot lists with enchanted variants.
The helmets were generally used for tournaments or jousting, so vision was not a priority. Realistically, you would not be wearing one for actual combat or warfare (though there are medieval manuscripts which show them being used in those circumstances, but we're not certain how rare such usage was, if it occurred at all.)

I am also planning on making a full lore-friendly Adamantium set with weapons.
Historically, it's a tournament helmet of 15-16 centuries.
