This is a collection of savegames. This means you don't install it, you just copy the contents into your MyGames/Oblivion/Saves folder and load the one you want to try with the Load menu in-game.
But the characters will not look anything like the screenshots (if the game doesn't indeed fulminantly CTD) if you do not install before the required mof, Ren's Beauty Pack.
Before trying it, I recommend to read the Comments section at the Ren's Beauty Pack page. Looks a little troublesome (unsurprisingly for such an old mod).
does this s#*! even still work? just bought this on steam. if anyone still uses this and would tell me how to install it correctly i would love you forever
hmmm...If these save games are not working for you then you must not have the required plugin installed properly.
Using Oblivion Mod Manager's Save Manager (located under Utilities), I see that the only additional plugin that was active when all these save games were created was _Ren_BeautyPack_full.esp which is most likely Ren's Beauty Pack (Full edition) (noted in description). It may not work if you're just using the Hair Only version.
As for the custom race issue, you can use the patch Walko mentioned below but if you are using the Unofficial Oblivion Patch (recommended), it is already includes a custom race fix.
Here's my problem, the Ren's Beauty pack I can find is just for the mystic elves. Is that the right one? I just keep getting the bald monk hairstyles when I load the saves. Any help? Thanks.
The characters do not look like they do in the screenshots. There's far more to it then just what texture packs are being used, which sucks because some of the screenshots look really good. I guess i'm going to have to keep searching for another character save where the author actually explains every mod he or she used to get the effect that they did in the screen shots.
yes.....it works perfect. for those that cannot find the save folder.. try user/documents/my games/oblivion/saves... try creating a save file in-game and you will the folder in the path above.
only problem is that the faces arent exactly the ones in the pictures but at least the look human.
Does anyone know what mod the author uses to modify the hair to make it appear more natural? Instead of the hair appearing as sheets, the hair in his/her screenshots appear to be softer and more natural looking.
I would like to know which mod is used to do this. I already have Rens and Natural Faces mods.
