About this mod

Put the powered Hircine's Ring in the jewelry box instead, changed the non-powered Hircine's Ring name, Emoira the Gloomy Cave witch inventory changed a bit. Minor Sin' Dal dialogue typo fix.

NOTE: This mini patch is for those has Symphony of Night installed. For those doesn't use Symphony of Night please check out Curse of Hircine - Resurrected mini unofficial patch instead. But don't use these patches together, it will add 2 Hircine's Rings (the powered one) in the game. Also to note, if downloaded my mod Chest at Hircine's Shrine, you can delete it. it's kinda obsolete now due to the dog collars will respawn now in Emoira inventory with this mod. Anyways.

  • So, a bit like my other mini patch for Resurrected, for Emoira, the witch merchant in the Gloomy Cave, I changed her inventory a bit. She still sells almost the same stuff, except now she won't sell the moonstone (more on it later) & the actual, powered Hircine's Ring. (more on it later) The other change dog collars now respawn after a week, while the moon clock, etc. remains the same.
  • The non-powered (well it has a Fortify Willpower enchant, but that's it, who cares! lol It doesn't has the actual power to help with werewolf transformations), Silvermoon the Ring of Hircine (other words Hircine's Ring, below I'll be talking about another name change below), I renamed it to have "Replica" in it's name due it's not the real powered one.
  • Of why I made Emoira don't sell the moonstone anymore, or from SoN it's called Shadowmoon Stone. The reason there's a added boss in SoN called Lycaon the Mighty that be carrying it, so to me it seem unnecessary that she still had it in her store.
  • Of the actual, powered Hircine's Ring. During a quest that Sin' Dal sends you to get a artifact (the ring), originally Coolster had the non-powered ring in the jewelry box, I swapped the rings, now the actual ring is the box that you be retrieving & the non-powered only sold by Emoira.
  •  Sin' Dal - High Priestress of Hircine minor dialogue typo fix, from "his" to "their". Of the above quest, during the conversation when speaking to Sin' Dal of the ring artifact, one line she'll say "This ring would give a werewolf complete control over his nature whether it would be a full moon or not.", I change it to "their" as a neutral pronoun for she wasn't referring a specific person, but a werewolf that can be any gender.

A more personal change: Ring name reverted
For a personal preference I didn't like Coolster's fan made "Silvermoon" name for Hircine's Ring, from researching there's no lore of it actually being called that. (Before you say anything about me added "Replica" to the non-powered one, from like ESO, there been replicas of powerful artifacts through the years, likewith Divayth Fyr end up finding, sorry for the spoiler, a replica of the Ebony Blade in the Web of Lies side quest!) So, if you like me, wanted it be more lore friendly without the name, there's a download for that as well.
