Unfortunately I deleted this mod after only an hour of play; the gulls are way too loud & distracting for my taste. Walking around in Leyawiin with all that noise made it seem like a beach rather than the middle of a city; I knew I wouldn't be able to deal with that for long. It's a great idea for a mod though, if only the gulls were MUCH quieter and maybe in fewer places.
grab a blank audio file and rename it to replace the audio that annoys you. The game will play silent audio and you dont have to mess with the mod, easy peasy
You might want to check out the ambient seagull sounds built into the game already. They are found in Data\Sound\fx\ambient\regions\birds\seagull\.
The sounds in regions means that they are used in the sound tab in the region editor, so you would need to create a new region where you want the sounds to be heard. The new region will overlap existing regions, so you'll have to make sure you don't enable the data in any of the other tabs. Have a look at the region editor in the CS wiki if you're not familiar with it. Also have a look at the AnvilCoastline region for the settings. Bethesda uses the seagull sounds in a few regions, with AnvilCoastline having the largest number of seagull sounds.
rockin, rocking and rolling. down to the beach I'm strolling. but the seagulls poke at my head not fun! I said seagulls mmgh stop it now. everyone told me not to stroll on that beach said seagulls gonna come poke me in the coconut and they did, and they did. nothing I could do but yell when these birds attacked me. when I tried to run I fell and then these kids start laughing. and then got hit in the neck with a hacky sack. where'd it come from? One day I was walking and I found this big log. Then I rolled the log over and underneath was a tiny little stick and I was like that log had a child. Listen boy someday when you are older you could get hit by a boulder, and while your lying there screaming come help me please the seagulls poke your knees.

Awesome little mod, adds much more immersion to the game, specially near the coast.
I'm just curious, i can hear a slight female voice in the background with my headphones along with the wind sound and the seagulls.
Did you record the sounds on the outside? in real life?
