Are there quests tied to any of these? I found some dudes skeleton with a unique name in the anvil sewers, killed it and he didnt have anything on him to loot. I've explored everything else there so just making sure i didnt miss something.
Having problems with the sewer entrance in the outside area of the southeastern part of Bravil! I can exit the sewers easily to the outside, but I can't seem to go back inside the sewers!
Thats exactly what's happening! It's like there's just a placeholder texture in place of the door! Not sure if it's related to a quest/undocumented quest or what! I can still access that particular sewer via other entrances! And then again, I use this mod alongside the Dungeons of Tamriel mod and it's associated patches, which also adds a sewer dungeon to Bravil on it's latest version, and I have Dungeons of Tamriel loaded before this one with the patches, of course, loaded after this one!
A manhole is a small opening into a confined area, such as a sewer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhole
As for the manholes in my mod... The Bruma sewers are accessed through Jearl's house and the Bruma prison. The Chorrol sewers are accessed through the Crumbling Mine, one of the castle towers and the basement of Chorrol's Mages Guild. The new sewer systems in the Imperial City can be accessed through other sewer systems, such as the Temple District Sewers or the South East Tunnel. Also through manholes on the Arcane University grounds and in the basement of the Imperial Trading Company Warehouse on the Waterfront.
All the other sewers have exterior entrances marked with map markers so they shouldn't be hard to find. The Skingrad sewer entrance is a bit out of the way, in a pond behind the grape field.
I am spending more time than I should searching for the entrances. There should be some kind of note included which give the locations. Also, I have only gone into the Bruma sewers, and it was really nothing but a long rock tunnel, with nothing of interest in. This is not a very well put together mod. I realize it is a first effort, but it needs serious revamping.
I beg your goddamn pardon but what exactly makes the Bruma sewer system a "long rock tunnel, with nothing of interest in"?
The Bruma sewer system contains three loot chests, a headless zombie hidden within a sealed room and last but not least, a Dremora guarding the exit to Jearl's basement. The room with the Dremora also has plenty of loot, such as several gems, a silver dagger and a cupboard that has a chance of containing rare ingredients. Not to mention the Dremora itself carries an enchanted weapon.
Jearl is a Mythic Dawn agent. Since she is affiliated with the cult it makes sense to me that the Mythic Dawn would employ a Dremora to guard this passage into the home of one of their members. This ties my mod into the game's lore and also gives the Bruma sewers something unique to encounter. In fact, all the sewer systems have something to make them stand out. Be it a unique enemy, special loot or even small quests to solve.
I worked very hard on this mod. I made it entirely by myself and it took several months. Have you ever made a sewer cell in Oblivion? It's very time consuming as the floor, walls and ceiling are all their separate pieces which need to be carefully puzzled together. I even went out of my way to experiment with the sewer architecture, creating room layouts not seen in the vanilla sewers.
You're right about one thing, it is a first effort. Because I don't release an incomplete product. I release my mods ready to play and I make damn sure they run well, play well and look good.
As for the entrances, they really shouldn't be that hard to find. Most of the sewer systems have an exterior entrance marked with a map marker. The only ones that don't are the sewer systems for Bruma, Chorrol, the Arcane University and the Waterfront. I've already answered how to get into the Bruma and Chorrol sewers in a different comment. Explore the IC sewers until you find an entrance to the other ones.
I haven't checked the other sewers yet, but it conflicts with Better Cities Anvil. The sewer entrance is poorly placed underneath a BC dock. Using the map marker is the only way to get to it. Once you're under there, no way out except fast travel or console tcl. Really odd why the author did not consider BC when making a mod that affects cities. The sewer entrance could easily have been placed in some nearby location that wouldn't conflict with BC. Instead, you've got an almost completely hidden sewer entrance that traps you under a dock.
Isn't rather Better Cities that has thousands of conflicts with, oh well, each and any mod affecting cities? It's up to the Better Cities team to patch these conflicts, or should mod authors always make extra BC versions of their mods? It wouldn't make any sense, really

To be safe they probably shouldn't be used with one another. Unless anyone wants Anvil, Bravil, Bruma or Chorrol to have two different sewer systems lol.
I found out that this mod conflicts with A Brotherhood Renewed. Both mods edit the same area in the Crumbling Mine, causing a large void in the Brotherhood Renewed area.
I might. Assembling a sewer system in the CS is tedious because of all the different parts so I don't think I'll be making another sewer for a long time, haha.
