Really nice!, now it seems you don't have fast travel to get to your horse again. It's almost like a warrior throwing a whistle to call for it.
Although there was some flaws, I first used the unmerged version and nothing happened when I casted "Mark Warhorse", only "Mark Horse" plus nothing happened when I equipped the emerald. So I tested the merged .esp which proved a bit better, equipping the emerald worked here. But still no "Mark Warhorse" worked. Also, I use Slof's horses.
If you want to use this mod with MagicWords (speech recognition for spells) then you will need to add the four new spells to the Oblivion-MagicWords1.1.xml file.
WARNING -- the ID codes depend on the mod order loaded in hex where the ID is actually XX004cbd and the XX is the mod order number (01, the first mod loaded, 02 the second etc). Either look in the Oblivion loader for the position or reorder *this* mod to, say, position one (the top) using the Oblivion Mod Manager.
Note to mod author. The 'MagicWords' mod does not use the top byte of the FormID so permitting the mod to load in any position.
I have already patched my DLCHorseArmor plugin using the patcher with MD's saddlebags version 2.3, so I followed your instructions and merged the patched plugin with GP_Call Steed - Not Merged, and re-saved the list of scripts in the CS.
The call steed bit seems to work OK, but the saddlebags no longer work properly. When you stealth & activate the horse it tells you the encumberance on the horse but the inventory box doesn't come up. The only thing I can think of to do is to rename the merged version in your download back to DLCHorseArmor and try the MD patcher (the MD patcher will only patch flies called DLCHorseArmor.esp), do you think this would this work or could it rooster things up completely? I'm a novice at this sort of thing and have probably done something wrong on the merge, I used latest TES4 plugin utility and set DLC....as priority 1 & Call Steed..... as priority 2. Any help would be much appreciated as this looks to be the horse whispering mod I have seen.
