    I keep getting a consistent crash during Chapter 6 when the guards show up to arrest. The ghoul attacks and the screen turns black and the game will not load anything everytime.

    I think I'll just stay inside and see if I can setstage of the quest to bypass this.

    I was very satisfied with this mod, it gave me Amnesia vibes one minute and Until Dawn the next, both of which were helped by the intense atmosphere and feeling of loneliness and paranoia. I didn't experience any gamebreaking bugs that I can recall which was very appreciated and the story kept me engaged for my playthrough. I think some of my favorite moments came in chapters 4 and 5. I will definitely be replaying this again.

    Definitely worth time playing this one, I had a blast. Hands down the best horror mod for oblivion I played.

    Good atmosphere, memorable story, liked the mystery and horror parts a lot.
    Every chapter had something memorable, spooky, atmospheric or interesting.

    The blizzard chapter felt very... cozy. Despite you being trapped in that spooky house with Dagon knows what horrors lurking within.
    Final dungeon with green lights and huge white chapel were amazing too, honestly good creative visuals that get to me on a personal level.

    Got stuck in few places, some clues and keys were hard to find, but walkthrough helps.
    Some of the levels might be a bit confusing due to it being dark and super foggy (mines and hunting grounds)

    As far as bugs go, sometimes camera got weird after reloading a save, my character sort of floated up and down, and i couldn't move. but quitting and running the game again helped. I think it might have something to do with disabling players controls, and dream sequences.
    Oh, and i couldn't open the cage to get the rat meat, had to tcl it.

    I can't make anything out of the drillster, even though I have all the ingredients (and the book).

    Nevermind: I mamaged to do that.
    There is one bug I have to report: there is no marker for the player in the local/mini map of the Jerall Vale, so I couldn't know where I was going.

    Does anyone know how he got the witch to wear the litch robes I didn't think that that was even a clothing item I thought it was just part of the mobs model

      It's a conversion. Search for Lich Gear here on the Nexus and you'll find something like that.

    As I said before I love this mod it was one of the best months I ever played however I did have something weird happen which I guess I should tell you

    I didn't experience any bugs except for one

    In the room with all the ghosts when it pops up that message that you have to click through you know when you get near the ghosts that message appears non-stop until you type kill all and kill all the ghosts in that room so that way it doesn't play that message anymore

    It's like a pop-up message the kind of you get when you become a vampire and it shows you your dream it's that kind of pop-up message where all you do is say okay 

    Without typing kill all I would have been stuck there forever because it would have constantly been pulling up the line about the ghosts

    Haven't tested it too much so if you find any floating objects report here and I will fix it. Optionally there's also a patch included for those who use both Snowdale and the mod Nobody Goes Into the Mountains But Hunters.

    I am not sure if Shroud Over Stalrous Manor edits any other locations than Snowdale so if you run into any issues I can look into it.

    For any future mods or updates if you haven't planned it out already, 11labs AI voice is amazing for fleshing out a mod's voice lines to where it sounds like the OG actors.

    I enjoyed this mod a lot. It made me feel uneasy, scared, claustrophobic, trapped and helpless. Which are uncommon emotions for the champion of Cyrodiil to experience.I t basically turns Oblivion into Amnesia for a few hours. The atmosphere is palpable and it must have taken so much time to create. But it was totally worth it in my opinion. There's quite a bit of lore behind the mod and it's very well thoght out. On a technical level it's near perfect. I only had a couple of bugs that were easy to resolve. The fact that there's a walkthrough which looks like more effort was put into it than some other actual mods speaks volume to the quality.

    At certains points it's not very clear where the player is supposed to go and the only thing that helps is randomly running through the whole estate, including outside. Some sort of noise or message to guide the player would have helped at times, especially at the point where a dog-related message was left at the door or after the first time you activate the bed.

    Here's the bugs I had: (minor spoilers, beware)

    -Infinite loading screen after the monster attacks a guard in front of the house and the player is supposed to be transported into the house. Fixed it by commenting out the transporting code in the script and manually typing it into the console. This worked without an infinite loading screen.
    -I wasn't abe to activate the rat in the cage and had to use tcl. The cage door wouldnt open.
    -during the ghoul attack in the mines near the crane, the ghoul fell down and the quest couldnt progress. Was caused because I simply jumped over him and attacked. He never hit me so the script didnt fire. Could be fixed by disabling playercontrols.

      Hey, would you be able to give more details on that first bug you mentioned with the ghoul attack? I'm currently having this issue and not sure exactly how to 'comment out the transporting code.' i'm guessing you did a coc command? at what point in the scene did you do the command?

      EDIT: I used coc aaDSGroundFloor once the cutscene with the ghoul begins, and the quest carries on as normal. However, my character animations have reached light speed and my third person camera is now permanently stuck just under the floor no matter how many times i tfc or change cells. My animations go back to normal on a cell change, but I haven't been able to fix the camera issue. Also, my armor changes to what I was wearing a few saves ago, not what I was wearing when I do the coc command. I feel like this is probably an OR conflict, will see if I can fix.

      EDIT2: fixed problem by reloading save after coc weirdness, all as normal!
