A horror/mystery themed quest mod that spans 9 chapters of dark mystique, mystery and psychogenic horror. Will you unravel County Bruma's darkest secrets?

A shroud looms over the Jerall Mountains and County Bruma. In a series of unusual circumstances you find yourself in the possession of the deed to Stalrous Manor. The manor does not have a welcoming appeal however and bears the scars of an eerie and cold history scorned by a series of disappearances. Unbeknownst to you, the estate holds a dark mystery that has yet to be unearthed. Explore the Stalrous Estate and the surrounding wilderness in search of clues that will uncover the mystery that has plagued County Bruma's past and threatens to plague its future. Confront sinister psychogenic horrors and delve into the darkest depths and dungeons of the Jerall Mountains in search of answers.
Shroud over Stalrous Manor features 9 Chapters of dark mystique, mystery and psychogenic horror. Experience new and unique dungeons, enemies, boss battles, stealth sequences, chase sequences, exploration, survival and 55+ new cell layouts to explore.

I recommend using character that is around level 15-20 (a rough estimate).
Exploration
Shroud over Stalrous Manor focuses on story, mystery and atmosphere above all else. As a result, the gameplay focuses heavily on searching for secret levers or finding important items that might help you along the way. All new areas that you explore will be blanketed in darkness so using a light source will be a must. SOSM features a new light source, the candle. These can be found throughout your time exploring the estate so don't be too concerned if you didn't bring enough torches. There will be several times throughout the mod when you'll be trapped and must press forward in order to have access to the open gameworld again so come prepared and pack a lockpick or two.
Clues and Story
Along the way you will be able to find clues. Clues act as fragments of the overarching story and will fill you in on the larger details of the mysteries surrounding the estate. There are a total of 20 clues to find and they come with their own respective clue bundles. Each bundle is made up of 5 similarly themed clues. Once you have completed a clue bundle you can turn it in for a bonus reward at the conclusion of chapter 9. Clues are optional and serve as collectables. As such, finding clues is not mandatory and will not determine the completion of the main questline but if you want the full overarching story then you must find all of the clues.
Atmosphere
Shroud over Stalrous Manor prioritizes atmosphere, introducing a brand new set of customized Loading Screens (created with the assistance of zlostnypopolnik) and a multitude of ambient sounds, loops and music. I recommend playing in the dark and using headphones if able. In order to receive the best experience please configure your in-game settings accordingly:
Master Volume: 100%
Voice Volume: 50%
Effect Volume: 100%
Footstep Volume: 25-50%
Music Volume: 0-10%
Brightness: 0-10%
To begin the quest you need to buy a room at the Jerall View Inn in Bruma and use it.
