Unfortunately I don't have the know-how to do such a thing, but with Oblivion Remastered, I believe that all our leveling concerns have been addressed ;)
Conjuration as a spell school already levels at a wild speed when compared to other schools, befitting the high magicka cost of its spells. I used its xp value as the "maxim" for a seldom-used skill, since you don't need to grind out the skill in order for it to reach 100 in the average mage playthrough!
Will this mod retroactively consider skill level-ups prior to installation?
I mean, for example: If I'm level 20 and have already leveled up Destruction and Restoration one time, then I apply your esp file, will I have +5 in Intelligence and Willpower when I reach level 21? Or would I need to level those skills after applying the esp file in order for it to work?
Unfortunately, seeing as this mod is mostly GST changes, it cannot do such a thing -- I'd recommend starting a new playthrough to truly benefit from the tweaks ;)
I just Installed this after learning in depth about Oblivions's leveling problem. THANK YOU SIR for creating this. Now I can play the game without the worry of "Micro Managing" my skills the whole play through and wondering If I punched one too many mudcrabs!
1) The mod basically increases experience gained in all skills 2) Whenever a level up is available, you will always get to choose +5 in any skill (or 1 in luck)
Correct? If so I wouldn't exactly call it immersive but maybe "straight-forward"
You can only choose +5 if you got at least one skill increase associated with that Attribute, of course, unlike many other versions of "always +5", but, yes.
Straightforward. I mean "immersive" in the sense that you don't have to artificially stop your play-through to jump under a dock or sneak near a permanently unconscious NPC to eventually see your skills advance to higher levels.
