I was delayed, but thou hath been right in thy prediction.
Well, I actually reinstalled ESO the last few days and gave it an actual fair chance this time around. It's a MMORPG so the combat is abysmal and I don't care about any of that group raiding and playing s#*!, but the quests and story are actually nice.
I am very familiar with ESO and recently went back as well. CP 1170 with 9 characters lol. I'm actually in a guild but use it mostly for the guild store. Making gold is a good thing. The vast majority of my time there is spent on solo play. It dawned on me a few weeks ago that I hadn't properly explored Blackwood and the Deadlands yet. So that's what I've been doing. TBH I wasn't ecstatic with the CP system revision as some of the skills I worked so hard to get previously, now require spending a lot more points to utilize. Like the ultra speed horse riding.
Ive owned the game and never touched it, seeing great modders such as yourselves talk about it makes me feel like giving the game an honest shot. First I have to finishing modding oblivion and releasing my shelved mods.
@mhahn I don't understand most of what you just said there, but it sounds like you're enjoying it and that's the most important thing! Though I was quite happy about being able to respec my old level 12 character when I logged backed in. Have since advanced to level 18.
@TriniXjin I treat it like a single player game simply to see the landscape, do quests and experience the story, that way I'm liking it so far. The actual multiplayer/MMO aspect of the game I don't care about and was the reason I hadn't really played it so far. A release of shelved mods sounds very interesting indeed, wondering what has been stored there! New mods and authors are always good.
That gave me a good chuckle. So when you get to level 50 you will cap out, and then start earning Champion Points (CP). Which can be spent in various skill trees to further enhance your character in many different ways. One of which is faster horse riding which I mentioned. I do enjoy it and play pretty much the same way you do. For the quests and scenery.
But I am in a Guild, which means I get roped into doing some group play now and then. Mostly I use the guild because they have a guild trader which allows me to sell valuable items I accumulate and make plenty of gold.
Anyway..nuff of that. Congrats on another nice looking fort. The grid map shows it outside the realm of UL so no conflicts that I can see at a glance.
