About this mod
As most of us know, the player home that's available in Bruma always seemed a little lackluster. This mod aims to fix that by not only improving the visuals but the functionality of the house as well. Now all the Bruma fans can finally have a nice place to rest their head after a long day of adventuring.

By default the house always had an issue with looking very run down, as well as lacking originality, and useful features.
This mod aims to drastically improve the house, while at the same time trying to keep it close to its original layout, as well as adding a Shivering Isles theme.
Features:
- Rearranged or replaced a large number of the default middle-class furnishings with their upper class or Shivering Isles equivalents.
- Added more clutter to the shelves and tables in the house to make it appear more lived-in and realistic.
- 99% of the fake lighting in the home has been replaced with light-emitting variants. The chandeliers and candle holders emitted no light by default. Their replacements emit light and even flicker, adding to the home's ambience. (The only lights left untouched are those that had little to no effect on the overall lighting of the house, such as a few small candles. The kitchen chandelier was left off as the fireplace in the room is already on, and it would have been illogical to turn it on.)
- The lower level of the house now has a spell crafting and enchantment altar. The seating that was originally in the area has been replaced with a bench and positioned to the left of the door that leads to the bedroom.
- The house now features a lot more storage containers, most of which are in the basement, but there are also some new storage options upstairs as well.
- There is now a "hidden" basement level located in the bedroom through a trap door that is hideen underneath a bear rug. The theme of the basement will depend on the version you download. (As of now only the Dark Brotherhood version is available.)
- Added a few custom notes around the house to be discovered.
Requirements:
Shivering Isles.
Installation:
Download with Nexus Mod Manager, or manually download and extract the mods esp into your data folder.
Do not install if you currently own the house and had previously purchased the upgrades, or have placed items inside the default containers.
Version History:
- V1.2 - Replaced the Fleshy Pod and replaced it with a safe version.
(The containers in the basement have NOT been fixed yet. Only the corpses, and sacks are safe at the moment.)
REMOVE ANYTHING YOU STORED IN THESE CONTAINERS BEFORE UPDATING.
- V1.1 - Narina Carvain's dialog about purchasing upgrades for the house has been removed since it is no longer necessary.
- V1.0 - Initial Release.
Current Bugs:
- Certain vases with plants in them haven't been made static yet.
Notes:
This is not a graphical modification, if you want your game to look like mine I recommend following Bevilex' modlist for Oblivion.
