ENDORSED! Does using these spells have any effect on disposition? I would assume that forcing a pink dress or insulting crab on someone would anger them quite a bit lol! If you wanted to take it a step further, some of these spells can be made more useful: The princess spell lowers fighting skills, the bareness spells makes them run in shame, the crab spell silences spell casters, the moon spell literally disables that NPC (except quest givers), etc.,
As for a NEW spell suggestion, it would be amusing to turn NPCs into frogs using this modders resource > https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48148
Author’s response: ”The spells are, by design, intended to be used for harmless shenanigans and aren't meant for serious combat use, so they don't affect disposition or stats. As for the frog spell, I can look into that.”
Cool stuff. Hey, a spell that would set somebody on (harmless) fire and make 'em flee would be nice as well, good for screenarchery of chaos in city scenes without actually hurting folks. During my active modding days, i also crafted a spell with a script that forced the nearest person to come running to talk with the targeted npc, for testing some stuff, and i ended up keeping it since it was funny, wonder if you can do something like that later! :)
Ah, there you go, you actually went and did it, and now i gotta update the mod and set some people on fire! I hope you left your screenshots section here open, i might or might not have some funny ish for that gallery soon! :) Voted for file of the month too because why the hell not, this old game needs a little humor and a touch of sheogorath every now and then.
For all intents and purposes, you can achieve the same effect with a Frenzy spell. Also, the prank spells are suppose to be ultimately harmless (hence why they’re called prank spells), so we won’t be adding any spells that causes harm.
i wanna see the kshaara prophecy spell be a thing, that way you can have the raining dog corpses have a flee from obj reference on them that makes the others flee from the scene
Love this mod. Couple of ideas if you're still interested: -A spell that turns the victim into a rubber duck that just sits there and screams like Homer Simpson. -A spell that makes the victim swim everywhere, including on land. -A spell that launches the victim 20ft into the air diagonally. -A spell that makes all other NPCs flee from the victim. -A spell that spawns a tiny mudcrab that follows the victim around insulting them in a Scandinavian accent.
-A spell that makes the victim swim everywhere, including on land. -A spell that makes all other NPCs flee from the victim.
These two are out of the question, since the first I have no idea how and whether it can be done at all, and the second for the same reason as that failed ghost spell. [See my reply to Yawb120 below for details.] The others I could consider.
i believe there is a flee from reference object code in-game, maybe just a spell that spawns a harmless ghost that everyone flees from, as a summon spell.
That would be cool. Maybe just a standard ghost summon that lasts like 30 secs but with the code that makes NPCs flee. Big plus if the ghost also screams like Homer Simpson ;)
Unfortunately, although we tried to add a similar spell to the mod, the spell we created produced undesirable behavior, which we don't know how to fix. (Everyone would rather attack the ghost than run away, and the guards would attack the citizens and each other (for some reason).) So, a scary ghost spell won't be added to the mod, unless we find a way to fix these problems.
I'm no modder, but would maybe implementing a non hostile ghost work? A ghost that is not hostile to anyone, spawns and speed buff + fear on the afflicted npcs.

This mod during testing got me chuckling more than I'd thought.
Better endorse.

My friend many many years ago made a spell called scary ghost and a video about it, haha.

Think you could create something like this?

Thanks for trying though, that was good of you.
