Under the "Spells" Look for "ShurikenSpell". You can delete the Effect item that subtracts a shuriken with every toss. Downfall..unlimited shurikens. You can then add an effect called "shuriken" where you can tweak the damage of the stars.
Quantity can easily be fixed by just using a dupe glitch, although it's a PITA using a lot. I'm going to attempt to change the damage they do using the CS.
As to those who say they're used as distractions: This is true. However, keep in mind: This is Tamriel, not Japan. In this land, there is magic aplenty. If one can cause a blade to set people on fire, I think it's conceivable that one could also cause a simpe projectile to be very, very deadly.
I think, if the damage is properly adjusted, this could be a very, very nice addition to an assassin-type character's arsenal. In addition, it might be possible, with a clever bit of scripting, to create "poisoned" (i.e., perhaps a "damage x health over x seconds" enchantment, paralyzing, and so forth), and then placed in quantities around the world.
To the creator: What is your stance on others using this mod as release for a new mod? I'm considering creating a sort of "assassin" mod. It could be considered a cheat, but it's more for roleplay, after starting a new game. An NPC that you'll have to find, who'll give you items they've been holding for you while you were in jail.
Great concept and execution. Seriously though, damage and quantity are HUGE issues.
Clever to use the stats as modifiers, but it needs to have a base damage of at least 10 pts. or so. It damages so little, I sometimes feel like I'm throwing boquetes of flowers at people instead of trying to stab them with sharp projectiles.
Also, you only get 100 of them and it takes at least like 25 to kill someone without even any armor on.
I'm pretty sure that in real life, a single throwing star of that size aimed accurately could kill someone in one hit, if not, maybe two or three hits...
But 25??? Come on...
I know that you're trying to be realistic, but realism doesn't mean fun :/
Otherwise, the sound and visuals are great and I'd give this mod an 8.

This looks like a good mod, dling now, but I'm not endorsing it or anything cuz I don't even have a clue as to what that means. Lol.
