Description
This mod renames all Iron and Steel bows to Yew and Ash, respectively, as this makes more sense logically. The only reason they are named after metals in the vanilla game is so that you can easily tell which weapon tier they belong to, but I'm guessing you know that by now.
Unlike similar mods, this mod affects all the relevant bows, including those added by Shivering Isles. The full list is:
- Iron Bow -> Yew Bow
- Fine Iron Bow -> Fine Yew Bow
- Rusty Iron Bow -> Worn Yew Bow
- Durable Iron Bow -> Durable Yew Bow
- Steel Bow -> Ash Bow
- Fine Steel Bow -> Fine Ash Bow
- Durable Steel Bow -> Durable Ash Bow
Installation
Standard installation procedure: add the file to your data folder and check in the game launcher or your mod manager of choice.
Uninstallation
Just uncheck the mod. Uninstalling this mod will have no permanent effects on your save game.
Compatibility
This mod will conflict with any other mods that edit any of the Iron or Steel bows, but I have included all the relevant bash tags for Wrye Bash to resolve these conflicts automatically.
