- Removed Decornered from the User Interface section (simplification).
- Removed Travelling Equipment from the World Building Core section (simplification, and the items weren't strictly 'vanilla'). You can re-add this mod to the guide with no issues, but you will require a custom bashed patch to resolve all conflicts.
- Removed Static Alchemy and Ingredient Storage from the Gameplay Extras section (simplification, and it also incentivises hoarding ingredients, which is slightly counter to Ascension's carry weight restrictions).
- Added a Troubleshooting section for common solutions to the issue where the game will not launch based on comments that have been left on this page.
- Added an Archive section that contains the mods that have been removed from the guide but are not redundant.
- Updated the patch to account for updates to some mods (mostly the OCO-related mods).
- Removed NAO.esp as a master from the patch (it was unintentionally included in the previous version, which meant you needed to use NAO even through it was listed as [i]Not Required[/i]).
- Added a new 'hardcore' version of the patch, which includes a few additional dificulty changes (listed in the Final Steps section).
- Minor tweaks to some miscellaneous text in the guide.

- Updated the patch to include changes from version 1.2.0 of Ascension and some of the new mods. You must update to the most recent version of Ascension.
- Split the Character Visuals Section into Core and Extras and relocated some mods from the Graphics section.

- Replaced Oblivion Character Overhaul Cleaned with Oblivion Character Overhaul - Advanced Edition.

- Changed the advice for Oblivion Display Tweaks to not recommend using borderless windowed mode, and instead playing fullscreen so that brightness can be adjusted to get the correct atmosphere (especially for nights and dungeons).
- Decreased the point of interest distance for locations on the compass in the patch, so that you must be much closer to a location to see it. I find this improves the sense of discovery and feeling that you are actually in the wilderness.

- Added the NAO - Brighter Nights file to [Graphics], and also made the NAO - Even Brighter Nights and Closer Fog file optional too. I recommend trying the brightness levels with NAO's official Bright Nights settings before using either of the optional provided here.
- Added Let There Be Darkness to [Graphics - Extras] to make dungeons much darker. This may be too dark for some displays, hence why it is in Extras and not the main section.
- Added Simple Sunglare with Lens Flare to [Graphics - Extras]. Adds a really nice cinematic sunglare effect that meshes perfectly with NAO.
- Removed Unofficial Oblivion Patch Excessive Draw Calls Fix as it is now included in the Unofficial Patches.
- Removed Stronger Hindaril and patch, due to conflicts introduced by the new version and because a guarenteed set of Ebony (in addition to Umbra's) is maybe a bit overpowered. The Unleveled Claymore patch is still available for those whoe want to use the mod and patch the NPC conflict themselves.

- Replaced the NAO - Even Brighter Nights plugin with a similar patch that also reduces the fog distance slightly for all weathers, to prevent being able to see to the end of the game world on clear days.

- Tweaked the patch to better resolve some conflicts, added the Bash default icons tweak, and increased respawn time to 10 days.
- Tweaked the load order so you can now make perfect bash patches yourself for the mod list. I actually recommend doing this over using my patch if you know how to use Wrye Bash, since you can merge a large number of plugins to free up some load order space. I have updated the instructions in the Final Steps section to give more details on this.

- Split the World Building section into Core and Extras. I still recommend all of them, but only the Core section is strictly required for the patch.
