Suggestion, try and make the textures not so shiny and fresh, when they are lower class and country side people. Most of the textures are very good, but some look more upper class and some look like from our modern world. Extremely underrated content, your work should be one of the most famous in nexus for Oblivion mods, and it focuses on the lore(Thank Sheogorath for that!), anyway, thanks for the mods and forgive me if my english sounds poor, I'm Braziliam ;)
I really like your mod ! Thanks for the release ^^
However, i have notice something : it works for some npc but not for all (i used your screen to check if everything was okay and some npc have the new clothes/elements and some haven't) For exemple : in Blackenmarch, non of the npc have your mod's cloth ; in Border Watch, some of them have the clothes but not the innkeeper etc...
I wonder what did i do wrong... I have OCO and Seamless OCO, and body replacers for male and female that come with equipement replacer. Maybe that come from here? Redressing Cyrodiil loads after all of them (i have the skeleton mod required and the core of Redressing Cyrodiil loading before Countryside).
Would you ever release an unintegrated clothing pack? I like some of them very much, specifically some of the robes and shirts, but I'm not interested in having the others on NPCs. I'm not a fan of the Asian themed brightly coloured clothing, personally.
Could you please expand on what you mean by unintegrated? Because if you don't like the presence of Asian clothing, that seriously hamstrings me on what I can add to NPCs, and future plugins are going to feature Asian clothing even more heavily.
I appreciate the effort and the idea for this mod is outstanding but I too worry about the Asian themed clothing. They seem too out of place in Cyrodiil. I would tone down the use of Asian themed clothing and mix in some default vanilla clothing all places so only some wear the themed clothing. Just my 2 cents.
I just mean a version that is not integrated into levelled lists. That way I can open up the CS and add what I want to my own character (which is why I download clothing mods, personally) without seeing it on other NPCs in the world. I'm not a modder, so I'm only asking for myself.
Edit: My modding knowledge is very limited, but could I use the master file you have uploaded to do this? I'm assuming this mod integrates the clothing into levelled lists and the master file holds all the assets. Unless I have that completely wrong!
That's exactly right, you can use the master file which adds all the clothing items into the game without touching NPCs. There's also the optional test chest file, though I haven't tried that.
For the author: I really appreciate the effort you've put into the documentation of these mods. I'm a big nerd for going through the lore and adding fitting outfits to NPCs, and I'm looking forward to using this as a resource for personal use. Thank you for putting this together.
PokeyGT is 100% correct. You only need the master file and the CS to do that. I would stay away from the test chest though - that was only released in the hopes that mod users would help me verify if a few buggy textures were a computer problem on my end or not.
