Hi, I was wondering whether it would be possible to make such an animation for only the upper body? So that it could be done sitting down. The idea is that my companions start fixing up their gear once we sit down some place. So ideally the animation should also have a piece of iron armour or something on their lap, but I could live without that. It's just as you say - he stands inside the chair.
What about your other animation though - sitting taking notes? Didn't you disconnect it from the legs there? That's the most important bit, everything else is optional.
