Description
This mod adds magnitude caps for all the exploitable spell effects in the game, including:
- Chameleon
- Reflect Damage
- Reflect Spell
- Absorb Spell
- Resist Normal Weapons
- Resist Magic
The effect magnitudes will still display normally on your active effects page, but the internal actor values which control their effects are capped to prevent you becoming overpowered.
To customise, simply use the provided ini file to set the effect caps as you wish. If you want to remove a cap, set the value to 100 or greater.
Installation
This mod requires the Oblivion Script Extender.
Standard installation procedure: add the file to your data folder and check in the game launcher or your mod manager of choice.
Uninstallation
To uninstall, make sure you are not affected by any of the spell effects managed by this mod, wait 10 seconds, then save the game, exit, and uncheck the mod.
Compatibility
This mod's changes are applied through a single script. It should be compatible with everything as long as nothing else you use has scripts that mess with the same actor values.
