    Uff, hell of a lot of trouble to install this thing. I'm tapping out, I'll just stick with the original interface.

    I had some trouble getting this to work So this is for anyone else having problems.
    What i did to get this to work (with Vortex):
    1) follow intstructions for FOMOD conversion here:
    ?a)Extract this archive to a location on your hard drive.
    ?b)Download the DarNified UI 132 7z Archive (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/10763)
    ?c)Extract the DarNified UI archive's contents to this archive's "DarNified UI 132 FOMOD" folder, merging files if asked.
    ?d)Compress the contents of your newly merged "DarNified UI 132 FOMOD" folder.
    2)Within Vortex use Instal from file as normal
    3)Change oblivion.ini and replace the [Fonts] part to:
    [Fonts]
    SFontFile_1=Data\Fonts\Kingthings_Regular.fnt
    SFontFile_2=Data\Fonts\DarN_Kingthings_Petrock_14.fnt
    SFontFile_3=Data\Fonts\DarN_Kingthings_Petrock_16.fnt
    SFontFile_4=Data\Fonts\DarN_Oblivion_28.fnt
    SFontFile_5=Data\Fonts\Handwritten.fnt
    These seem to be the only working font options for me if i change anything oblivion crashes while loading a saved game.
    Hope it helps

      thank you! You're the first one to use vortex like me, I was tottaly lost before. I will try it and come back here to say if its work

      edit: I have the same problem that thsi guys does https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/10763/?tab=forum&topic_id=9631423

      I have found 3 archives as oblivion.ini:
      baked
      based
      and on steam (obilivion default)

      edit 2: I check againd all the 3 files with oblivion.ini on documents
      well, one of them was set different from the others! So I just have to edit him and now I test and it worked!

      Kudos to you. Those font edits in the ini were fixing the overly bold and oversized fonts for me.

      MO2- Open profile folder- Open Oblivion.ini- Search for fonts, remove old fonts and paste the above

    If you chose the large font in the install but still have issues, copy this into your ini:

    [Fonts]
    SFontFile_1=Data\Fonts\Kingthings_Regular.fnt
    SFontFile_2=Data\Fonts\DarN_LG_Kingthings_Petrock_14.fnt
    SFontFile_3=Data\Fonts\DarN_LG_Kingthings_Petrock_18.fnt
    SFontFile_4=Data\Fonts\DarN_Oblivion_28.fnt
    SFontFile_5=Data\Fonts\Handwritten.fnt

    YMMV depending if you chose a different font type (not the size, but the letter style)

    I followed the instructions but for some reason the mod doesn't seem to have any effect in-game. I managed to install the mod through Vortex but even then it seemed as if absolutely nothing happens. I made sure that I have OBSE installed as well. I made sure to compress the file correctly and I did do it properly enough to get the installation customize menu when going through Vortex, but it just straight up does nothing in-game.

    I used 7zip to compress the files into a ZIP, if that somehow makes any difference.

      I've installed it with Vortex and it works perfectly - after I've modified the [Fonts] section in oblivion.ini.  At first I've forgot to do this step and the inventory looked awful.  (A final warning step in the installer would have been useful about this manual editing.)  It shouldn't make any difference regarding installation if you use 7-zip or zip format.

      Same. I followed the instructions in the description to a tee and I'm still stuck with the vanilla ui. I should mention that the fonts seem to be working though which is extra confusing.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS ! Hours and hours of tweaking around to setup MO2, Wrye Bash, OBMM, trying different stuff for making the darnified ui work, only to find this little file which solved all the issues making the mod run with Vortex with no issues .Finally, no more extra mod managers and extra things besides my favorite choice . Endorsed.
