I'm a bit of a perfectionist too, so if there is missing texture files which will help TES4LL just a little bit, then I'm in! LOL
Also I noticed that you are running Tamriel Rebuilt + SHOTN ...... how successful was you at using PonyRider0's new ModExporter? Was there any missing meshes and/or textures that didn't port properly, did the quests and dialogs port Ok to Morroblivion.......
I am working on that as well and would like to correct that. I haven't tested yet in game because i struggled first with landscape lods (which made me post this mod). I am also working on a personal morroblivion HD textures replacer (so far 1200 new textures and had to modifiy 400 meshes). I wanted to finish landscape textures replacement before generating new lods...
I could finally get clean tes4ll landscape generation last night for a test. Will try to test ingame tonight :)
I said personal morroblivion HD mod because i am replacing textures with ones from my higly modded Morrowind game ... There is no way i could post this mod because of too many textures from too many diffrent authors and some of them don't want their assets to be shared outside their mods.
i will upload a few pictures to show you ... if you are intested , send me a mail on PM and i will privately share it when finished (50% done so far)
Nope ... it would probably require to find the exact spot where those missing textures are used in game. If ltex records is pointing to those textures then it might be usefull at some point, somewhere ... that all i can say.
I wonder why this has never been reported to Grutfikus and fixed by him... maybe because it is not really harmful.
Understood. Well, it has been reported some time ago, maybe years, but no solution/answer has been given.
Personally I get some wrong textures visualized on distant mountains: https://abload.de/img/oblivion_2020_03_07_1mhk19.png But I think this has nothing to do with these missing textures. Gruftikus suggested me to use the tamriel heightmaps mod.
I do use tamriel height map and have no weird distand land problem so yes , he is right ... this has indeed nothing to do with these missing textures.
I have no proof it changes anything, it might just be psychological :) , but again, getting errors from logs is not something i really enjoy, doubt will remain and you never will know when getting a crash loading cells, if it comes from those missing textures or not. I feel more confident now that i know tes4ll does is job with no error.
Cannot say... i never had problems playing in Tamriel (Cyrodiil, + TR mainland ) but i 've just updated my Morroblivion with TR 19.12 and SHOTN 20.01 and there were much more errors when generating lods. It is convinient for me to think that it may solves missing textures problems and probably also helps TES4LL to do a better job whle generating Object LODS with proper textures.
As i said it might be useless but never saw any errors encountered not affecing the game at the end ...
