Loving the mod, but I unfortunately have a small gripe. In my own custom .esp I change the fVanityModeWheelMult setting to 0.000, so that my 3rd person camera distance does not change when the mouse wheel is moved. Even after changing the input settings, opening the spell favorites menu seems to override the fVanityModeWheelMult setting, resulting in the camera movement I created my own .esp to remove. Editing your .esp to change the fVanityModeWheelMult setting also does not resolve this. Is the script relating to the spell favorites menu the cause of this?
Yeah. This setting is set to 0 when spell selection is opened (to prevent camera changes while scrolling through spell list) and then to default when spell selection is closed.
This isn't a bug report, but a conflict note. If you add Colored Quests - Updated ( https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49966 ), it blocks your menu widget on the spell screen. Interestingly, the favorite selection key still works, both in the menu and in the world. Given the choice, I'd much rather have your improvements over colored quest icons. :)
OK, there is an issue, but it appears to be random. I tried to get a screenshot, but it's not cooperating. I initially encountered the issue on my "main" PC, where I'm getting close to finishing my 200+ mod build. I tested it on my laptop, which has a VERY minimal build. When the issue happens, you can clearly see that the right arrow on the "Spell effectiveness" line is missing, along with the other four icons on the left. BUT, I went back into the main PC just now and it was working, with zero mod changes since last night. On the testbed laptop, adding or removing mods seems to trigger the behavior at random. So, it's there, but I haven't figured out the X-factor yet. I'll keep poking at it until I have a definitive trigger.
It says that the keys are customizable, but does not say how to change them. How do I change them? "Q" is my cast button, and having the menu come up or go away every time I cast a spell is pretty annoying.
For some reason, every time I try to change the hot key from Q to T, it resets as soon as I load up my game. Do you know a fix for this? I was able to change it before but for some reason it isn't saving when I hit "Return".
I have all the necessary downloads (LINK, MenuQue, Shivering Isles and Oblivion Script Extender. Like I said, every time I try to change the menu and switch the hot key from Q to T, and to skip the buy/sell/Give message boxes from OFF to ON, I hit Return (even check if it saved, it does) but as soon as I load my game, it all just resets to default.
I've tried reinstalling each mod over and over and nothing seems to be working.
If your settings revert to default, it can only be because mod is reading them from INI - which happens only if LINK is not installed OR one time when mod is installed for the first time or updated from older version.
Unfortunately it appears the newest update just crashes game now with a Runtime Error, when the inventory menu is accessed. Please investigate this issue when you can.
Um, I don't have any such issues. Can you be more specific, do you hover mouse over a particular item? Or does it crash simply when opening inventory? What base UI are you using? Any other mods that change UI?
I encountered this same error earlier, and found a solution. The behavior happens when you hover the mouse cursor over any PHYSICAL item, not spells/skills/etc. I had initially repacked the file after editing the INI file to my preferences. I tested by downloading a new copy of the installer, and it worked fine. Also, I was then able to make the changes I wanted through LINK without issue. I haven't had time to test beyond that yet.

Edit: Ah yes, I neglected to mention the other UI components I'm using, they are Darnified Dark UI, Display Stats, LINK and Item Description Framework for Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul and WEPON.
While I couldn't really say Display Tweaks was the culprit for the version I'm referencing as I hadn't tested it yet with display tweaks disabled, the even newer(?) version seems to work just fine. So, thanks!
Last night I finally got time to test this again. I DLed the latest version (1.11.1), applied my preferred changes to the INI, re-zipped the mod, and installed it with Bash. This time everything worked fine - no Windows "bing" and game lockup. SO, not sure what exactly the issue was, but it seems to be fixed. If I encounter anything else odd I'll be sure to post.

Edit 2: Fellow, you might need to update your mod again. The newest version causes the wait function to be broken, in that the slider is set all the way to the right and the wait value is set to zero. Please consider looking into this at your convenience.
Great mod, not sure why anyone would play without it. Just wish there was a similar quick key for poisons as well as spells, instead of using another mod since I already have so many other mods installed.
This mod is excellent. Not even one minute after playing with before it became essential. So many QoL improvement and immersion added by all those descriptions. Thank you.

Edit: Ah, sorry for the late Endorsement.
