Simple, Optimized(TM), ugly meshes to avoid the disappearance of ships when the game render distant objects in the landscape. Little to no performance impact. Requires TES4LODGen to work as intended.

INSTALLATION:

1. Drop in your game Data folder
2. Run TES4LODGen (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15781) and check in game :)
3. Run TES4LODGen again every time you make a change in your load order (i.e. when you make changes with BOSS/LOOT, merge plugins in Wrye Bash, remove plugins, etc.)
