You say on top of for TP Alternative to other, so we will let them overwrite TD Alternative?

Anyway to get this to work with Darnified Books?  When this mod is installed, it overrides Darnified and reverts the book text back to vanilla oblivion style.

Use a Wrye Bash bashed patch.

Just wanted to thank you for making so many contributions to Oblivion's mod scene even after so many years. Modding this game nowadays feels like a breeze thanks to the efforts of MVPs like you.

      Sorry for double posting -

The bash tags Names and Text are missing in Book Jackets Oblivion.esp. Won't this undo changes in the bashed patch, since they won't be imported? Or will they be applied anyway so long as the .esp is active?

We don't want the names or texts changes of the books (they have grammatical errors and revert UOP changes).

I did a few random comparisons and you're absolutely right, thanks for the warning. I kept the name changes though, if only to match the new covers. Anyway thanks again.

Is this supposed to have an install wizard? I'm installing it with Wrye Bash but nothing is actually being installed.

There is no install wizard, just install the Sub-Packages manually. I reccomend only installing the main file here and only selecting these Sub-Packages in BAIN to install:

      00 Core Assets
01c Core Book Jackets ESP - Filter Version (Maximum Compatibility with Knights and UOP)

What's the point of the BAIN archive if I need to install the folders manually?

This is how mods are typically distributed in Oblivion.

Does this include the retextures for the DLC and KOTN book jackets or this only replaces the main file.

It does not include the DLC or KOTN book jackets. You still need to install them separately.

This doesn't seem to work with the Nexus Mod Manager. I download it and install it, but no Plugins are detected.

Can we get a version that works with that? It would make it so easy to use!

Unfortunately I can't support that mod manager. It is gravely outdated and not built for Oblivion. Even if I did give support for it, you will continue to struggle to install many other Oblivion mods with it. You should move to either Wrye Bash (#1 mod manager in my opinion) or Mod Organizer 2 (2nd best.)

What about Vortex, the current mod manager (which is what I meant to say; old habits die hard and I forgot about the change)? That is definitely supported and received an update even a few weeks ago. I've installed dozens of Oblivion mods through it. This one unfortunately doesn't get detected by it when it's installed.

Same problem unfortunately, it cannot install any BAIN-friendly packages or wizards. More tailored towards Skyrim.

What happen if i use yours core assect of the mod and the esp of italian translation of the mod? I suppose the latter doenst have the bash filter added being outdated.

I'm worried if i can screw the savegame mid game if i change the esp now because i would be happy to read the book in my native language.

    Thanks
