Compatible with OCOv2: Load before OCOv2 and add the R.Relations bash tag.

Shouldn't it be loaded after oco? The bash tag will make this mod merge into the bashed patch right?

If you do that OCOv2's facegen for races won't be imported over this mod.

So, this makes this patch here not required, when using with a bashed patch like this, correct?

Update: Confirmed. Wrye Bash adds automatically the tags "Deactivate, NoMerge, R.Relations.Add, R.Relations.Change, R.Relations.Remove" and merges all entries in the bashed patch. There is no reason however, for this ESP to stay active, since everything was merged, so remove the "NoMerge" tag and allow Wrye Bash to deactivate the ESP. The other patch is also not needed, so 2 ESP slots saved!

Race relations in Oblivion actually have a very good reason for being the way they are. Many of the people within Cyrodiil are either from Cyrodiil or are sympathetic to Imperial politics / policies. Dunmer don't hate Khajiit here because Oblivion Dunmer aren't the ultra-nationalistic, religious Xenophobes of Vvardenfell. They're Dunmer hailing from arguably the most Diverse and Progressive place in all of Tamriel, one of the only true melting pots of culture.

sooooo I wouldn't say this is 100% lore friendly, only if it's assumed most people living here weren't born here. There ARE quite a lot of people traveling throughout Cyrodiil due to the borders it shares, so that could be partway true (:

Yeah, and local Argonians are in many ways also quite different from the Saxhleel of the Black Marsh.

Shouldn't the race modifier from Nords towards High Elves (and Wood Elves, probably) be less negative at that point in history? I mean in the events of TES IV, the third Aldmeri Dominion hasn't even emerged yet and Summerset is just too far away from Skyrim that there could be any cultural conflicts. Unlike to Morrowind, no border region between those provinces exist that would let Nords and Altmer exchange culture, hostilities etc.

Strictly speaking... yeah. I still wanted the "Nords hate Elves" to be a feature, so that was a compromise that I decided to make.

      Nah, you're right.
In Skyrim Atmorians (or Nedic people, i can't remember right) destroyed all the Snow Elf civilization as a result of rebellation (just much like Cydorill with the Ayleids) before the First Era, so i can make sense that hateful with all elves in this case.

I also don't remember any particular hatred for the High Elves from the Dark Elves in Morrowind. Their cultural clash and the exodus are treated as bygone past, not some modern reason for hatred.

I believe I found a mistake, in the description it states Wood Elves are disliked by Nords but in the ESP there's no race relation assigned to Wood Elves for Nords.

Here's a download link for my fix: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uYQ8Qh2WLa4vMAvuDlpNSXnbDEa2FPlg/view?usp=sharing.

Yes, following Oooiii's advice, this mod seems to be functioning fine, and as far as I can tell, it's awesome and should be used by everyone really, adding much needed meaningfulness to racial interaction.

Incompatible with ocov2. If loaded after ocov2, it disables face textures. If loaded before ocov2, it gets overwritten and does nothing.
Spent hours trying to find out why oco wasn't working turns out it was this mod

"Argonians: disliked by everyone for being one of the beast races, super hated by the Dunmer because farm equipment should not be allowed to roam free"

I needed a moment to recover from that one, it was way funnier than it in all honestly should've been

And unfortunately I cannot claim credit for it. I swear that I saw someone on Reddit make that joke once, but I can't for the life of me remember when or where.

I noticed in the chart that Dunmer and Orcs don't have a disposition bonus with members of their own race, despite every other race having that bonus. Do you think that's something you might change?

Went ahead and made an optional alternative that adds a +5 disposition bonus for Orcs and Dark Elves.
