About this mod

brother123's merging of the worlds of Oblivion and Nehrim was an incredible achievement, but many texts from the official English translation were not included, some textures from the vanilla game were replaced, and many users begged for a non-Omod version. This version addresses these issues, and is uploaded with full permission from brother123.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Nehrimblivion is a work-around made by brother123 so that you can play the quests of SureAI's Nehrim on the same character as you used in Oblivion, and is very compatible with most Oblivion mods.  However, several of the English translations, including all of the "GREETINGS" dialogue, most of the in-game notifications, and all of the English loading screens, were missing, so unless you understand German, you could not understand much of what was going on.  Additionally, since Nehrim was intended as a total conversion mod, several textures were modified or unnecessarily duplicated from vanilla Oblivion, which would revert some elements of most texture packs back to vanilla resolutions.  Finally, Nehrimblivion was only available in omod form, and not everyone uses obmm...  Hence, this version adds back all of the missing English translations from SureAI's version, removes duplicate textures and presents everything in a standard format.  Music from Nehrim is added, but does not replace the Oblivion soundtrack, similar to how music is handled by Morroblivion (which is also fully compatible with Nehrimblivion).

From brother123: "You don't have to download and install Nehrim to play Nehrimbilivion, but Nehrim is an nonprofit total conversion mod developed by  the SureAI team. So this mod can't be used in any profit behavior.  Please follow the above instructions. Otherwise, you shall be responsible for relevant consequence."

Installation Instructions
(1) Make sure Oblivion Script Extender is installed, and the files downloaded here are extracted into your data directory (or installed with a mod manager).  (2) Use Wyre Bash (or your preferred mod manager) to set the load order, but do not activate any of the plugins.  Install Nehrim.esp after any other new lands mods (or after Morroblivion), followed by NehrimData.esp and then NehrimEnglish.esp. (3) Do not activate any of the Nehrimblivion esp's to begin a new game.  Rather, use a character you have created in Oblivion, and use a save that has been made outdoors.  Once you have such a save, activate Nehrim.esp only!  (4) Upon loading the game, everything will be in German.  This is normal!  Upon loading the save described above, you will be transported to Nehrim and begin Nehrim's Main Quest.  Once you see the quest has begun, save the game and exit.  (5)  Activate NehrimData.esp and NehrimEnglish.esp [and optionally NehrimEnglishUpdate.esp (see below)], then load your last saved game, and everything should now be in English.  (6) Profit!  You can now travel between Nehrim and Oblivion with console commands; e.g.: coc erothinhafen to get to Nehrim and coc anvilmagesguild to get to Oblivion.

Recommendations
Nehrim English Supplemental can be used to add some missing translations, as long as the master file is changed from Nehrim.esm to Nehrim.esp using TES4Edit.  Now included with this mod, beginning with version 1.23, thanks to permission from ThomasKra!

ArmoryLab allows easy access to a player home (coc armorylab) where you can fast travel back to any discovered location in Nehrim, or exit to Oblivion.

Before beginning Nehrim, watch the Nehrim Intro in English so you know why you are where you are at the start of the Main Quest!

Additions
Nehrim is a huge mod and there are still a few texts that are not translated yet, even if you include the supplemental mod.  I am playing through the mod currently, and as I find untranslated texts, I will do my best to translate them and offer them here as I get to them.
