Thunderfury, Hallowed Blade of the Windlord


This is my first released Mod here on the Nexus. Recreated Thunderfury, Hallowed Blade of the Windlord from WoW:Legion the Artifact skin for Outlaw Rogues with an similar effect like the legendary Version

Its intended to have some differences to the WoW Version since personally in detail the weapon doesn't have that much nor the scale to fit into Oblivion.
Adjustments like runes and more lightning, also the blade is thinner.

It also adds a new location called Skywall, Plane of Air where you will find the blade holding by a Thunderlord called Le'ras. Defeat him and you will get the weapon itself. Name and look of the Location is inspired by the WoW instance Vortex Pinnacle and elemental plane Skywall

Thunderfury does have an Enchantment called "Wrath of Thunder" which has an unlimited uses.

"Wrath of Thunder"

- 20 Shock damage

- 30% on hit to deal instead 40 Shock Damage and weakens the Enemy for shock by 50% for 12 seconds

Normal Damage wise is it 2 points higher than Shivering Isles Endgame Weapons.

It is by default a 2-Handed Weapon

This Mod also contains a 1H and a Staff Version of Thunderfury which is located next to the entrance Portal in a Windlocked Box.

NEW -- Offhand added to the windlocked Box and Script for sheathing on back when wielding with Thunderfury 1H

Offhand stats:

- 20 resist shock damage
- light armor. 11 points defense (you shielding yourself with a sword)

Little Warning about the Thunderlords Difficulty:

I myself doesn't know much about AI and purposely difficulty scaling. In this Version Le'ras does scale with your Character but since he's holding TF, he one-shots you on lower levels. You still can defeat him at lower since the Health Pool scaling doesn't seem to be big, but its recommended to try him around Level 20+ and have some kind of shock resistance. His attack reach is very big and at higher levels he summons a storm atronach.

The Latest Oblivion Patch 1.2.0416

Knights of the Nine DLC  -- It uses the cloud Meshes for the Skywall area

Oblivion Script Extender v 0020 or higher

INSTALL/UNINSTALL
------------------------

Copy the meshes, textures and ESP File into your Oblivion/Data Folder and accept the folder overrides

For UNINSTALL you need to delete the following Files/Folders in your Oblivion Data structure

KNOWN ISSUES
-----------------------------

- After the Thunderlord dies the particle effects stay as he would be alive. I do not know lot about particle effects but would be appreciated if someone could told me what i need to do to fix it

- After Entering the Plane you may not see much clouds but it comes with time. The cloud Layers from KOTN are particles as well so they need to be generated first

"I cant find the entrance to Skywall. The Riddle isnt clear enough"



"Why does Le'ras only drops a 2-Handed Thunderfury"

Thats becaus of the design choice i took, check his corpse for a Key and look for a Windlocked box before you enter Skywall.

"Can i fall down in Skywall?"

Yes you can, but in the Dome itself you cant fall of where you fight Le'ras. I give you some hidden Walls so your reward or you doesn't fall to death ^^

"Is there a Plan to make dual wield Version of Thunderfury?"
