Are you still working on this mod? You know, there's no mention of this mod in the Elderscrolls forums, so that could be part of the reason that you're not getting any attention. I'm definitely for new LOD textures, myself, and there are more people who are as well. But you should really make a thread over there:

yep, I had a feeling it was too dark i'm trying to match quarls textures, his are much darker then the game, I'm using the gimp, for this project so tweaking the brightness and color is extremely easy, also I've discovered a bug for whatever lame reason when you set the graphic texture quality to medium it flips out and displays a whacked texture, seems as though setting textures to large fixes the problem, I have found a fix, it seems unfortunatly to be the DDS texture plugin for the gimp causing the problem, I downloaded nvidia's DDS program and it is a pain in the ass for testing purposes, but it seems when i compress it into a DDS with that, no whacky problem, I don't get it, Hopefully I will release a Fixed version with more done in a day or two, I finally have a day off of work and I haven't really been able to spend as much time as I would like on this project, Well back to work ">

I think your coloration looks pretty good, but we needs some closer shots. Also, what's with those crater like rings? Those aren't very attractive.
