I had just downloaded the old version lol. I'm liking the upgrades, thank you for this. Got two questions: Do you think it's safe to unninstall the other version and install this one on a started game or I'm gonna have to start a new game? Also, are you planning on uploading other mods? I mean new mods and new versions of old mods, I'm asking this 'cuz I just started playing Oblivion and found that most mods are abandoned or really old lol.
If you were using the "simple" version of the other package; there is no reason to update. Just continue using it. If you were using the other one, update should be safe, the game should replace the old script with the new.
About making other mods, I am not sure. I am using lots of mods, but I am finally happy of my Oblivion setup. So I do not think so. I was thinking about two other mods: one that disable the map markers at the begin of the game (the existing one in the nexus does not work with new places) but it is basically like to type "~tmm 0 <enter>" at game begin; the other one was to change the TimeScale depending of what the player is doing, but it would be very similar to Dynamic Timescale[1] and apparently in few cases a non-standard timescale breaks the game.
Don't worry too much if a mod is old. Oblivion itself is old, but many classic are great.
