There's an option in WB that does the same thing.

The option is under Tweak Settings when you make a bashed patch, in case anyone is wondering where it is. Also includes other annoying messages i.e. "your horse is stabled".

This is the mod that made me start endorsing. Such a simple but effective fix. Great idea, I think it's hilarious that this was only released a few months ago, for the entirety of Oblivion's lifespan people have either lived with the popup or used bBackgroundCellLoads which gets rid of it.

I found this mod because I was having a very persistent crash on my heavily-modded game that would only happen when I was moving quickly through the world. I managed to narrow it down to that setting which is normally recommended to be enabled for everybody. Disabling it completely eliminates that crash and causes objects to be loaded much farther from the screen and for cells to update more aggressively. It seems to make the lag spike from entering new cells worse, but seriously reduces overall microstutter because objects aren't being constantly streamed in. Upsides - no crash, smoother game. Downsides - lag spikes and the "loading area..." popup. That's where your mod comes in.

Thanks for the tip. bBackgroundCellLoads=0 does indeed reduce a lot of the micro stutter. I recently switched to Oblivion Reloaded and miss the glossy smoothness of enboost. This helps, along with vulkan render from Kuzja80's mod page https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/50381 under optional files.

Many people have been using Mackeman's No More Annoying Messages or Quazzy's Message Remover Pack, and I've been using "No Load," made according to instructions posted on the original TES Oblivion forums, but it's no longer available. Those are all from 2006, so yeah, people did already think of this.

I saw the title, I thought this would be a way to get rid of loading all together so the game doesn't have those moments where it freezes/loses fps when going into a new area.

Well unfortunately it only gets rid of message sadly.

But for a smoother time in the game overall there's still Stutter Remover. Together with this it makes for a wonderful combination.

Stutter Remover never worked for me, even tried the other settings other users have made.

Try Oblivion Reloaded. It has fps and stutter help.

Installing an SSD would have the same effect.

That's not how software limitations work.

I commend you for your efforts, but a mod already exists called "Annoying Messages Begone". When I saw this mods title, I almost thought it was an offshoot of the mod.

    https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15242/

Now, if there was a mod that removed the "You can't do x will in the air", and the forced pause that goes with that, I'd be all for.

I agree but in the 11 year difference between that mod and this one the methods could have changed. For example they could have nullified the text while this mod replaces the string of data.

I decided to download this mod to check against the other mod to see if there was any differences. The only real difference was that the mod I linked got rid of a couple other messages along with the loading area/lod ones, but both removed the messages in the exact same manner: go into gameplay/settings in construction set and deleted text from the relevant gameplay settings.
