I have a wonderful idea! How about making monk robes in a few colours as well? The game only has white and grey. The missing ones are brown and black. Then all the catholic orders will have been covered! (the only things missing would be the hoods, but there are capes and cloaks mod for that I guess)
Haha sorry. One more idea! The green and tan robes seem to be of the same design. Make more or them as well, in "earthy" colours? I don't know, black, grey, (darker) brown, burgundy (like the standard middle class clothing) or some other red that isn't "shiny", some kind of blue, autumn orange? Or if you could easily explain how you do it, I can try it myself. I have tried with GIMP but when I have tried to add a new colour it just seems it mixes with the old colour that was there before
Hi, I really love this mod and I have had a thought... have you ever considered making various colors of armor?
Like Iron greaves with red, blue, or purple leather?
side note, if this idea does take your fancy, you could just do the male variants and then just slightly adjust those to fit the female figure meaning you could pull this off while doing half the work.
After all The female armors normally don't look as protective and mods that stop the game from switching the armor to the female version seem to be very popular.
If editing the male armor to fit female bodies sounds like a pain "Assorted Protective Female Armors" created by Nuska has already done all the heavy lifting, maybe that mod author would be interested in teaming up?
here's a link to the mod I mentioned: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44678
I've also seen a number of mods that separate male and female variants of armor or clothes into unique items which is just such a cheeky and satisfying way to double game content for minimum effort.
Also playing a cross-dressing character can be really fun xD
All of what you mentioned are nice ideas, though I didn't really think about making different color versions of armor. It's a neat idea, so I'll put it on the "thinking about it" list. But that list is long.
Should be a "simple" matter of adding the items to the relevant levelled lists. Loot lists, NPC lists, vendor lists - it can get rather time-consuming to set up. Another option would be to set up a dynamic adding quest script, and add selected items to selected npcs as fashion models.
@Hellyea @Myrystyr @socko33 @Miltonek Version 1.1 of the mod now sort of randomly adds the clothing to NPCs, merchants and maybe containers in the game. Alternatively, you could consider using ZOO, where I did the same thing: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48681
Yes! Thank you!! Finally. There are some mods that add some clothes of their own but you have to dig in their archives to find them. Finally a proper clothes med :)
Looks beautiful! I went around to all sorts of NPCs and using another mod that allows you to access NPC inventory, changed a bunch of their clothing to give the game a colorful pop. Excellent work!
Slight issue though, for some reason, the menu icons for all the clothes are jumbled pixels. I've double checked that the icon textures are installed and in the right place, is it possible it's conflicting with something?
Always nice to see new resources out there. And it's also nice to see vanilla clothing retextures that look opulent without being garish or out of place.

Thanks for your awesome mods, that bring color to my world.
I was just wondering if you might have a version with all of these mods packaged together with a single ESP?
I don't have a merge, but with the CSE and TES4Gecko you should be able to merge them easily.
Your mod brings so much life to my world, thanks!
thx
Do you want them randomly distributed? I could try to add that.

They look fine for me, but I remember I had that error with other mods in the past myself, though I never found out what caused it.
