When I use the meshes file from here, some characters end up bald... Could this be something shader related? If I deactivate the following mod.. The issue goes away but then there's like a weird outline around the edges of hair strands (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47724) Open to suggestions on how to get the meshes from this mod to play nice with the one i linked
I tried this. But then I compared it to the upscaled textures from OUT Playground and OUT.
I would prefer this over OUT, but the newer OUT playground highres version definetely does a much better job at improving the textures, and eliminating artifacts and not oversharpening them. So, essentially OUT Playground - which is improving all vanilla textures everywhere (good to have everything matched in quality and resolution) - makes this mod redundant actually.
Just an FYI, the Reduced Textures version reduces the Argonian hair back to vanilla resolution, so it ends up looking worse since it's upscaled textures being downscaled back.
Hey guys I need help I'm an idiot and don't understand how to mod Oblivion. I have OCO, Robert's bodies and OCO2 Vanilla hairs restored. I installed this and it doesn't work. I'm using MO2. I also don't know how to use Wyre Bash so all I did there was create a new bash and enable it. So far this mod changed nothing in the game.
hmm it should just work, because this only replaces the meshes and textures.... Make sure that this mod is installed properly, it installs the same way as any other.
Hi I like your mod but it's not exactly what I'm after but I think you could create the mod I'm looking for.
You see, I am using a famous mod called Oblivion Character Overhaul and it's great. But one thing it does is replace some of the vanilla hair with these awkward hairs that cannot be length edited.
I would like a mod that brings back the vanilla hair for OCOv2.
Launch TES4Edit; Tick the box next to Oblivion_Character_Overhaul.esp; Wait until TES4Edit has finished loading; Expand Oblivion_Character_Overhaul.esp; Select the HAIR group; press [del] on your keyboard; A warning will show, wait a few seconds and select "Yes"; now close TES4Edit (and save the esp);
If you are unfamiliar with xEdit, GamerPoets has made a few videos about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wA5IlESvtCM&list=PLlN8weLk86XiGXJI4DaRa1QIq1zhDpD8V&index=1

What do I do?

Is it possible for you to make this mod?

Expand Oblivion_Character_Overhaul.esp;
Select the HAIR group;
press [del] on your keyboard;
