This mod takes Betty's/Elbethien's northern lights and adds them via script to wherever the player is going.
Northern lights will show up with a 33% chance at night, if the sky is clear and you are high enough in the mountains.

This version should be compatible with any weather mods, as long as they set
their weathers up with the "pleasant" flag for clear weathers. Of
course, if a weather mod adds a lot of weathers that are not clear,
northern lights will be more rare.

The optional file changes the northern lights to be more purple colored. Just pick one or the other,
both downloads include all necessary files.

If you like this mod, go over and endorse the original. Without Elbethien's meshes and
textures, my mod would be a floating flower following the player around.

Same as the original, if you use Falling Stars they will look weird if they fall when the auroras are up.

Copy the contents of the archive of your choice into the Oblivion/Data Folder. It is a simple archive, every mod manager should be able to
handle it. It contains the following files and folders:

lNorthernLights.esp
docs/lNorthernLights - Readme.txt
ini/lNorthernLights.ini
meshes/Laula/NorthernLights/northernlights.nif
textures/Laula/NorthernLights/lights.dds

Activate the lNorthernLights.esp in a game launcher of your choice and start the game with OBSE.
