    Version 2.1 is out.

    The missing texture for Voux amulet has been added (it's no longer purple) as well as the missing texture for the quils
    Also the texture file for the goblin shaman helmet is no longer a bother
    And last the esp file is there (forgot to upload it in version 2.1) but now it's fixed.
    Now our companion Voux looks like a true Warrior. Thank you abc123guy and TesLords

    Please post a picture of Voux so I can check how the companionship is doing

    It would be cool to see a player race of this. with dodging animations and a four legged running animation.

    When ever I went to castle Cheydinal to find him, I found him EXTREMELY bugged out. Like, some textures were bugged and shooting into the sky, his face was lit even though it was night, and the only thing on him I could actually make out was his skeleton, anyone else have this issue?

    this wouldn't happen to be compatible with open cities reborn is it?

      It should be compatible with open cities reborn. After all it's only one creature in one cell. Just make sure it's loaded toward the end of your load order.

      I installed the mod and went to cheydinhall but he isn't there. I think I know why, it's cause cheydinhall is normally a different world space from the rest of the overworld (like all of the cities). open cities reborn puts the city in the same world space as the rest of the overworld, but not stuff from mods.

      yes your are correct it's a differnt worldspace poor Voux is forever waiting for you in a parallele dimrnsion.. I will work for on an alternative location. Any suggetion is welcome..

      well you could put him in a tavern, or another building. or the imperial city, since most open city mods don't don't touch that city

      I wouldn't mind if I had to rescue him from a cage being held prisoner in a goblin cave.

    Everything is set. Except you forgot the esp. file Lol (I have the same one from testing so I'm good to go)
    I can't post screenshots because I purchased Oblivion for sale on GoG Galaxy, and GoG doesn't have a screenshot feature, and I would have to download a couple 3rd party tools just to have a proper image. lol
    But good news is that this is a cool companion. Well done mod!

    edit: I can load the game through Steam and take a screenshot!

    Aye so I've tried everything I could to fix it, but now his feather earring is missing a texture, the feather is entirely purple.

    I cant find voux at the courtyard. Am i doing something wrong? I am using OBSE and installed the mod with oblivion mod manager. Still cant find him.

      Check the garden of the castle, Voux should be there. I'll double check tomorrow morning.It's midnight here where I am

      Edit: Ok I've just check with a new character (an argonian assassin hehehe, oups sorry). Voux is there immobile; As soon as you pass the Arch of the Castle Entrance (exterior), turn left and he will be there waiting for you at the back of the garden.

      Let me know, in the meantime I'll post a screeni.

      Well i still cant find him. i posted a picture on user photos and as you can see he isnt there. I even reinstalled my obse (which is version 21) and the mod itself.

      I am investigating this problem further this evening (I am at work right now). Two questions for you:
      Have you installed a mod that changes Cheydinhall?
      Have you ticked on the .esp file in you mod installer mod list?

      Protocole is:
      1) Downloading my own mod from this very site (Tes Nexus)
      2) De-installing my mod in my game, and deleting in my data folder every single files related to this mod (essentially Voux body mesh and texture and the .esp)
      3) Installing this mod instead
      4) Looking for the companion Voux

      if I spot the little fellow, the problem is with you, if I don't see him the problem is with me
      alternatively I am asking other downloaders to post some pictures of Voux.

      no need to trouble yourself. i think the problem is with me, cuz i installed a diffrent companion mod, its another gnoll follower, and i cant see him either. So you dont have to go through all of this just to help for the mod. I am gonna try to see whats wrong and if i dont spot anything then idk xD

      Cool, I see Nostalgia is kicking. There a tiny small glitch (the amulet textures is missing). I am posting a fix today...Thanks mate

      Only problem so far is the bone amulet he's wearing is completely purple as if missing textures. One thing to note is that the texture file for the goblin shaman helmet wants to overwrite the same file that's already in Unofficial Oblivion Patch. I think it was shamanhelmet3.dds
