WHAT DOES THIS DO?

Once upon a time, our blessed savior Saint Jiub created and released a mod named Diverse Chapels. It tweaked Oblivion's Chapels so that each city's patron Divine is featured as the centrepiece behind the Altar of the Nine. By default, Stendarr is awarded this coveted position in nearly every Chapel. Unfortunately, thus spake Saint Jiub: "the mod requires All Natural, but down the road I'll make a vanilla-friendly version as well." As awesome as All Natural is, I'm currently playing through with a mostly-vanilla installation on a Surface Pro and wanted a version of Diverse Chapels without that requirement.

Well, here's that version.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT TO THE ORIGINAL MOD?

  • Does not require the mod All Natural.
  • Placement of the Divines' altars (and corresponding stained glass windows) follows a different logic. As Talos is the newest addition to the Pantheon, his altar is the one that is constantly shifting to make room for the Patron Divine rather than Stendarr.
  • Window placement on the exterior Cathedral mesh matches the interiors.
  • All Unofficial Oblivion Patch changes and fixes have been forwarded.
  • Optionally supports the Animated Window Lighting System.

TO-DO LIST

  • Add support for Open Cities Reborn.
  • Add support for Better Cities.
  • Provide an option to implement the missing Chapel of Kynareth.
  • Fix the base game window placement inconsistency with Kvatch's Chapel of Akatosh.

CURRENT BUGS

  • There is still a vanilla inconsistency between the window placements on the interior entrance and ruined exterior Akatosh cathedral mesh that is used in Kvatch.

CREDITS:

Although this was mostly made from scratch, all credit goes to Saint_Jiub and the original Diverse Chapels for both the idea and initial implementation (I think I used your ESP as a base... thanks dood!). Credit also goes to the UOP team - I used their copy of cathedralakatoshintentruined01.nif - and the AWLS team.
