About this mod

This is a slightly modified .esp for Heart of the Dead that I was able to de-integrate from CM Partners, as the mod can create conflict with other companion-related mods and has some minor issues that, at least for some people, can cause random CTDs. I'm also including a few old (and one new) patches also de-integrated from CM Partners.

This is a slightly modified .esp for Heart of the Dead that I was able to de-integrate from CM Partners that was requested of me by several people, as the mod can create conflict with other companion-related mods and has some minor issues that, at least for some people, can cause random CTDs. I have contacted BFreyermuth and received his permission for this, I'm also including a few old (and one new) patches also de-integrated from CM Partners.

Other than removing its dependency on CM Partners while retaining the three post-game companions' CM Partners commands, I have made no other modifications to the mod. In order to use this file, you need to download the actual mod from https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/21176 and then replace the base .esp file.  Heart of the Dead is entirely BFreyermuth's work, and a work I greatly appreciate and enjoy playing...but for many years was excluded from my load order due to its reliance on CM Partners. If you feel the need to endorse/like/whatever this page, please be sure you do so on the mod's main page!

If anyone notices any bugs with Kat, Wintermoon, or Dublin's functions that aren't present in the original .esp, please alert me so I can try to correct them. This was the product of several hours of tedious work in TES4Edit, so it's possible something didn't transition right.

The Akavir Kojima Extended - HOD Patch makes accommodations for both mods' alteration of the Valus Mountains near the Monastery of the Three, in a way that (I think) retains the mood of both mods and allows access to all doors.
