I've had a couple of queries about porting this over to the remastered game, but that's unlikely for the foreseeable future. I lost both my brothers in the space of 18 months, which left me a modding mojo-free zone. While I hope to return to modding eventually, I'm still not quite ready.
I like this, but I have to protest against some of the changes: 1) Necromancy may be legal in Cyrodiil, but it's banned by the Mages Guild, hence why it - as the sole institution issuing staves in Cyrodiil - would not use skulls in staff crafting. Necromancers, though, totally would, but you can't join them to get a staff. 2) Sanguine's Rose, Wabbajack, Skull of Corruption, and the Staff of Everscamp are already using unique models, so replacing them was unnecessary. Otherwise, great work, much necessary!
Well, I finally got around to it! The latest version has an alternate .esp file which omits cosmetic changes to those staves with unique appearances and icons, e.g. Wabbajack. I've also packed the meshes and textures in a BSA file for ease of use.
Maybe you could make a version without the replacers for the staves that are daedric artifacts, since they already have unique models (and also like Staff of Everscamp and Hromir's Ice Staff).
Will you pack your mods so that they can be installed via Wrye Bash, without Wrye Bash users having to re-organize the package manually?

I don't use Wrye Bash myself, but I'll try to get around to it. May take a while as I've not been well recently. All I need to do is move everything into the Data folder, yes?
